Our focus in the ESLProgram is to provide equality in education for our ELLs (English Language Learners), whose first language is a language other than English.  We strive to ensure that our student population, which includes a rich diversity in cultures from around the Pacific islands and abroad, is able to learn in a conducive environment that provides opportunities for academic success!

We welcome you to visit or contact us anytime, if you should have any questions.  With this being said, we'd like to say a warm HELLO to all of you in as many languages from around the globe:

What is the ESL Program? The ESL (English as a Second Language) Program is a program that has been developed and implemented to identify, assess, and provide appropriate educational services to all students whose English skills are not proficient.  It is designed to meet federal requirements for the elimnation of discriminatory educational practices, as set forth in the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Bilingual Education Act of 1968, the Equal Educational opportunities Act of 1974, and in the United States Supreme Court decision of Lau vs Nichols (1974).
