The Austin Alumni Association held its semi-annual policy colloquium on "Post-Election Border Issues." The high quality panel included Dr. Peter Ward (LBJ School), Christina Tzintzun (Workers' Defense Project), David Beckwith (State Director for Sen. John Cornyn), and Consul General Jorge Guajardo.
* Tailgate Fun Draws Large Crowd.
On Novemebr 4th, 2006 The Austin Alumni Association co-sponsored (with a check for $125) a tailgate party with the current LBJ Students and their "Great Tailgate Society." Alumni attending included Michael Reyna ('82) and Micah Sagebial ('06). Hook 'em Horns
