| Chapter Sixteen
Chi-Chi sat alone at the table in the break room. Everyone had gone out on a date or something of that nature. It had been another month with no response from Jescele or Xenta. Bulma had convinced everyone to go out for the night to keep Gohan from tearing DC apart looking for his missing agents. It had also been five years since Goku passed away yet she still could not find the strength to let him go. She sat thinking about how much fun she had with him. I loved him so much and then he just decided not to come back. She had been there for no more than an hour when she heard someone come in. "Where is everyone," Vegeta huffed angrily toward her. "They all went out," she told him, still lost in thought. "Even Bulma," he asked hopefully. "Bulma came up with the idea," she tuned to look at him. Kuso that baka always thinking about herself! I wanted her tonight. Vegeta turned to leave angry at the world because he wasn't going to get luck that night. Chi-Chi pushed her chair back and followed him out of the room. "Why are you following me," Vegeta turned to face her. "I'm not," anger entering her voice. "Yes you are," he leaned in closer to her. "I'm just going to my room," she looked him straight in the eye, "why would I want to follow a self absorbed baka like you." He looked at the emotional eyes subtly closing the gap between them. "You are just like all earth women, crazy, overemotional bitches," he said now only inches away from her lips. Kuso she's so hot right now. Her anger blinded her to the obvious facts. "I am not Xenta! You cannot just insult me and expect to walk away in one piece," she told him. The intensity of all this was lost on them, as neither knew what was going to happen. Vegeta felt her breath on his lips and it was driving him wild. Why am I attracted to Kaccarot's female? She should mean nothing to me yet I can't get her out of my head. Suddenly she felt his lips attack hers with such force that she couldn't think. He pulled away just as suddenly and on the second time around she fought back. The kissing intensified as her pushed open her lips with his warm tongue. She fought back with hers frustrating him. He pushed her towards the nearby door. She grabbed the doorknob throwing the door open. They backed into the entertainment room. His eyes searched for a place to sit down as he backed her further into the room. With his foot he pushed the chair out of the way causing them to crash into the walls. Kuso they're gonna kill me for that. He broke their contact and started working on removing her dress. It was all too quick for her to even think so she just went with the flow. He got annoyed with all her buttons and zippers so he ripped off her dress. She stood in front of him in her underwear waiting for his next move. In a blink of an eye he was attacking her again. Sayian lust was not something to mess with and Chi-Chi was learning that fast. But would this one nightstand be just that? Natalie and Marron sat upstairs at Natalies club drinking decaffeinated tea. This had become their nightly ritual ever since Natalie had kicked Trunks out. Marron are you feeling alright, Natalie asked. Marron had been squirming in her chair all night. My back has been bothering me all week, Marron answered shifting in her chair once again. Maybe you should take a shower, Natalie suggested, the water could do you good. That sounds like a good idea, Marron stood up and walked off toward the bathroom. That poor girl, Natalie took a drink of her tea, too back Trunks is too chicken to come over and help her out. Marron turned on the hot water and adjusted the cold. She pulled back the shower curtain and climbed in. steam filled the bathroom at the hot water beaded down onto Marrons back. The pain just seemed to melt away with the water. She closed her eyes relaxing. Suddenly a wave of nausea washed over her. Owe, She cried bracing her hand against the shower wall. The pain passed quickly enough but her nausea still remained. She closed her eyes for a few minutes letting the water soothe her. She reached for her strawberry mango shampoo. She lathered up her hair letting the water hit her back to make it feel better. Once again a sharp pain flashed across her stomach. This time it didnt stop. She braced herself against the wall, water streaming down her face. The shampoo started burning her eyes making her cry. The pain subsided once again. She stood up straight to wash out the rest of the shampoo and to fix her eyes. She blinked out the last of the shampoo all the pain seemed to be gone for now. What is wrong with me, she asked herself, I dont think Im supposed to be in this much pain. Tears streamed down her face and mixed with the shower water. She grabbed her conditioner and added it to her hair letting it sit for a little bit. Her lower back pained was slowly returning so she turned up the hot water to numb it away again. The hot water was starting to turn Marrons lower back bring red but the pain wouldnt go away. Her skin was even starting to hurt for the water. I never want to do this again, she cried washing out the conditioner from her hair the best she could. Pain shot up inside her abdomen again. It felt like and explosion inside her. She let out a load cry of pain. She stepped back in the shower and slipped. Marron lost her balance and slipped. Her head fell back and smashed against the tile wall of the shower. The hot water poured down on her as pain radiated out of every part of her body. There was a knock at the door but Marron could not answer. Marron are you alright, Natalie asked from the other side of the door, I heard something fall. She knocked again and still nothing. The door slammed open and she ran in. Steam poured out of the bathroom. Marron talk to me please, Natalie asked. All she heard was a soft moan of pain. Natalie pulled back the curtain to find Marron exactly where she fell. The hot water had turned her whole body red and blood was washing down the drain. Shit this is not good, Natalie bent down to make sure that Marron was still alive. She stood back up to turn odd the water and ran back down the hall to grab the phone. Shit who do I call, she asked herself running back to the bathroom. Before she could even think she was dialing the phone. It was a number she had called many times before when she needed a doctor. Hello, it was a female voice she hadnt heard in a while. Hi its me Lzika, Natalie said anxiety dripping in her voice, I need you to come to my club right away. Whats the matter? the woman asked only a little bit concerned. My, my friend fell in the shower, Natalie told her, theres blood everywhere. I think she hit her head. She wont talk to me and I think she might have hurt the baby. Why didnt you call 911, her friend asked. I dont know I cant think Im sorry Ashii but I know I can trust you, Natalies voice was shaking. What species is your friend, Ashiis voice remained calm. Shes human but the baby is part sayian, Natalies voice was still shaking. Her friend hissed at her answer. Please come over its important, Natalie begged, please. Ill be right over, Ashii answered hanging up the phone. Ten minutes later Ashii was in the bathroom examining the unconscious Marron. She barely hit her head I dont even see where the blood could have come from, Ashii said to Natalie, there shouldnt even be any blood. Natalie stood nearby worried for her friend. What about the baby, she whispered absently placing a hand over her own stomach. Im not sure Lzika, Ashii sighed, but it looks as if shes stopped bleeding and that is defiantly a good sign. Ashii washed Marrons body carefully. Help me carry her to a bed so to her room. They placed her on the soft bed. Your friend should be fine, Ashii whispered, you happened to find her quick enough. You probably saved her life Lzika. There was silence between then for a few minutes. I didnt think youd ever car for anyone again after what happened, Ashii spoke up, What changed your mind? Shes and innocent young girl in this world, Natalie told her friend, she hasnt seen all the things we have. She made one mistake that practically ruined her life. To be honest I used to despise her. I didnt want her here but he asked me to and I could never deny him anything. Who, Ashii asked. The father of my baby, Natalie answered, The father of her baby. You mean the Sayian, Ashii was shocked, Lzika you didnt? Dont tell anyone please Ashii you have to promise me, Natalie begged. But Lzika you know that Titus knows everything. You cant tell him. Hell ask me to return and I cant do that. I cant go back there, Natalie asked. When was the last time you saw her, Ashii asked suddenly. Who, Natalie asked pretending not to understand. Your cousin, Ashii answered knowing better than to believe her. Which one, Natalie asked. You know who Im talking about Lzika, Ashii spoke trying not to get angry. Its been over six months now, Natalie answered, but shell be back soon. You know shes lost Lzika and you cant bring her back to the way she was, Ashii told her. Thats your opinion not Titus, Natalie said angrily. Calm down Lzika you should be getting upset, Ashii went into doctor mode again. Can you please just make sure Marron and the baby are alright, Natalie tired to changed the subject. Ashii bent down and examined Marrons head and then felt her stomach. Just as I thought, Ashii mused, Marron only bumped her head. She didnt bleed either. Then where did all the blood come from, Natalie asked. The baby, Ashii answered, she miscarried Im sure of it. She might be better off for it, Natalie asked softly. Youre thinking about Mika arent you, Ashii guessed. Im just saying now the girl can have a life, Natalie ignored Ashiis last comment. Do you think shell be unaffected by this, Ashii asked. Well get through this, Natalie answered, Shes stronger than she looks. Ashii looked at her friend sadly. Thats what everyone said about you and now look at you. If anything happens Ill call you but Im sure shes fine, Natalie tired to smile. Please Marron you have to get through this, for me. I better leave before she wakes up, Ashii suggested, I expect you to call me for a check up and tell Mango I said hello. Ashii left Natalie in silence watching her new friend. Life just keeps getting worse. When will this end? Where are you Jescele and what have you been doing? Marron moved in her sleep pulling Natalie from her thoughts. Marron we will get through this I promise, Natalie whispered as a tear rolled down her cheek. Why did you leave me? If you were here still Id still be strong. Piccolo sat mediating in his room. The lights were off and it was perfectly silent. He was trying to purge his mind of the feelings that were plaguing him. Ever since Xenta showed him her secret he couldnt get her out of his mind. Piccolo had been able to keep himself out of that mindset until that night. It really was beautiful there. I was surprised Xenta could be like that. No Piccolo focus, do not think like this. You do not have feelings you are a rock. Stoic and unmovable. But she does have nice eyes especially when the moon reflects in them. ~Flashback~ Piccolo sat across from Xenta. It was very dark; the only light they had was the light of the stars and the moon. It was perfect. I cant believe Im here with her. She isnt the type of person to do these sorts of things. Piccolo looked over and saw the moon reflecting in Xentas dark blue eyes. He could stay in that quiet place forever and be content. He didnt even need to touch her and hed be happy. Piccolo what are you thinking, Xenta asked. Piccolo pulled himself from her eyes and smiled at her. That this is a beautiful place and Im glad you decided to take me here, Piccolo answered softly. I knew youd like it, her smile sent waves down his back, you know Piccolo I think I really may be- She never had the chance to finish her sentence. There was an explosion near by. ~End Flashback~ Piccolo pulled himself back to the present, back to meditation. I must stop thinking about her. She is a liability I cannot repeat the past. That Piccolo died with Goku, he is no more. Piccolo cleared his mind again. He took a deep breath to calm himself. His mind was clear or everything, almost everything. The moon in her eyes, beautiful just like her. There was a knock on the door that truly brought him back form thinking about her. Its open, he called as the door opened and Ice walked into the room. Sorry to bother you Uncle Piccolo, really I am but I was wondering if youd seen Eja, Ice asked. No I havent Ice, Piccolo shook his head, she probably went out to think for a little bit. Im sure shell be home soon. Good, Ice nodded, when she gets home we have to go. Goten is meeting us at the bar. He said hed get the take for us. Alright Ice, Piccolo smiled, his thoughts were on Xenta. Sorry to have disturbed you, Ice walked out shutting the door behind her. Piccolo returned to his meditation his focus still on those blue eyes. Xenta sat at the top of a tree at her hidden spot. She left had left the compound hours ago with one thing in mind. She needed to think. I know I shouldnt tell him but damn I cant stop thinking about it. Maybe if I tell him, hell let me in and I can get over this. Xenta looked off into the distance. She knew Jescele was out there somewhere. Where are you, Xenta called out into the quiet, I need my best friend right now. Please Jescele you need to help me! Xenta looked down at the ground remembering when she brought Piccolo to this spot. I almost told you so many things that night. But I couldnt, you had that far off look in your eyes. I wish youd just tell me about him. Im sure I could help. A single tear fell down her face. I have to tell you, she said with a new resolve, it has to be tonight. Xenta climbed out of the tree and headed back to the compound. Marron lay in her bed. She didnt fee a thing, not even the dull pain from her head bothered her anymore. She was completely numb. She spent her time sleeping. Natalie would bring her food up and she could hear the sounds of the club downstairs every night. She rolled over in bed pulling the covers over her head. The door opened and the club sounds grew louder. Marron its me Natalie, Natalie walked in carrying a tray with Marrons dinner. Marron pulled back the covers and sat up in bed. You brought me dinner again, Maroon asked shyly. Of course, Natalie smile setting the tray on the bed, Trunks is downstairs. What does he want, Marron asked. He wants to see you, Natalie answered. Did you tell him, tears started to fall from Marrons eyes. No, Natalie shook her head, if you want him to know you can tell him. Have you told him about you, Marron wiped her eyes. No and Im not going to, Natalie told her, He doesnt need to know. With everything that has happened I dont think its a good idea. Marron nodded reaching toward her dinner. She poked around for a little at it couldnt eat much. Are you alright, Natalie asked. I know its better that I lost the baby but, Marron started crying, but I cant face him. After all the two of you did for me I cant stand it. You were so nice to me even after you knew the truth I just cant handle this anymore. Marron kept crying, as Natalie stood there speechless. There was a knock on the door. Come in, Natalie said to the door. Marron whimpered as the door opened. Natalie I know youre here to talk to Marron but the club cant get along without its bartender. I cant be behind the bar and at the mic, Mango started talking as he opened the door. Mango go back down stairs Ill be there in a minute, Natalie told him, for now put on a cd and get behind the bar. Mango nodded walking out closing the door behind him. Marron started crying some more. Whats wrong, Natalie asked. Im ruining your club now too, she cried. No youre not, Natalie insisted. Marron wouldnt listen. Natalie sat on the edge of the bed and turned to her friend. Marron can you keep a secret, Natalie asked. This got the girl to stop crying. Marron nodded wiping her tears away. When I was younger I was in love with this guy, Natalie started, and we were going to have a baby. We were really happy everything was perfect. But the world got in the way and I lost my baby and then my love. Marron picked up on the sadness in Natalies voice. But I picked myself up and here I am today, Natalie smiled, I guess what Im saying is that you also can too. Marron picked up the tray and set it aside then crawled over and hugged Natalie. Do you want to have your baby, Marron asked. I do Marron but Im not sure if I really can, Natalie admitted, the club isnt the best place for a baby. And I refuse to go home until my cousin is back. What if, what if we lied to everyone, Marron asked, at least for now? What do you mean, Natalie was confused. Well no one knows youre having a baby, Marron started to explain, so we dont tell anyone. We keep them away from here until after the birth and then tell everyone the baby is mine. And then we can tell everyone the truth when youre ready. Marron was hopeful. Natalie had to admit her idea sounded appealing. What about Trunks, Natalie asked. Tell him I dont want to see him. Im mad that he lied to both of us, Marron was acting like her old self again, and then we can let him back after your baby is born to see us. Are you sure you want to do this, Natalie had to make sure. I do Natalie, Marron smiled. It was her first smile since she lost the baby. Alright well I have to get back downstairs before Mango destroys my club, Natalie stood up, Ill pass along the message to Trunks. Thank you for doing this for me, Marron smiled again. Anything for you, Natalie left shutting the door and walked off toward the stairs, thank you. Ice and Goten led the way through a crowded parking lot. Piccolo and Xenta were following close behind. Neither of them was looking forward to the night. They had lost a bet and now there were at the mercy of the younger two for the night. This is your fault you know that right, Xenta whispered to Piccolo. It is not, Piccolo whispered back. Theres no point in fighting over it right now, Xenta told him, I wonder what kind of place this Liquid Kitty is. I dont know either but the fact that these two found it scares me, Piccolo admitted. The line for the bar was short and the music flooded into the parking lot. They DJ was starting up a new song just as they hit the back of the line. I love this song, Ice smiled at Goten, I bet that Kat is here tonight. Who is Kat, Piccolo asked defensively. Its ok Uncle Piccolo Im sure youre like her, Ice smiled happily. Ice smiled as the words to her song started. Don't wanna be an American idiot. Don't want a nation under the new mania. And can you hear the sound of hysteria? The subliminal mind fuck America. Aye mie trosa this is bad, Xenta screamed, Who the fuck is singing. There is no way that is green day. Welcome to a new kind of tension. All across the alienation. Everything isn't meant to be okay. Television dreams of tomorrow. We're not the ones who're meant to follow. For that's enough to argue. Of course not, Goten laughed, this is a karaoke bar. Well maybe I'm the faggot America. I'm not a part of a redneck agenda. Now everybody do the propaganda. And sing along in the age of paranoia. I am Not singing, Piccolo crossed his arms. Welcome to a new kind of tension. All across the alienation. Everything isn't meant to be okay. Television dreams of tomorrow. We're not the ones who're meant to follow. For that's enough to argue. Please Uncle Piccolo, Ice pouted as they walked in the door, you have to sing its the rules. Don't wanna be an American idiot. One nation controlled by the media. Information age of hysteria. It's calling out to idiot America. If you dont sing you dont get to drink, Goten pointed to the rules on the wall, besides it will be fun. A nearby employee passed them all different number. Ice was number 45, Goten was 60, Piccolo was 83, and Xenta had lucky number 107. Welcome to a new kind of tension. All across the alienation. Everything isn't meant to be okay. Television dreams of tomorrow. We're not the ones who're meant to follow. For that's enough to argue. {American Idiot-Green Day} Thank you very much, The girl on stage bowed as the other people in the bar clapped. Look theres a table right up front, Ice led the way. She was too happy for a karaoke bar. The four sat down at the table and the waitress came by. What can I get you to drink, the girl asked. Is Kat here tonight, Ice asked. Im sorry Kat isnt working tonight, the waitress answered. They ordered their drinks and turned back to the stage. Welcome to all the new faces here at the Liquid Kitty my name is Jack the MC, the guy on stage called out, now our next random number is 45. Thats me, Ice jumped up and walked up on stage. So number 45 pick a song, make a dedication and get to singing, Jack told Ice. She walked over to the computer screen on the side of the stage. She used the screen to scroll and chose her song. The opening bars started to play. I would like to dedicate this song to my boyfriend for showing me what life outside my house is like, Ice smiled and winked down at the table. Finally recover and the mood is right looking up into a neon sky child in me takes over, guess it's been too long since the last time that I tried to fly Ever since Goten and Ice started dating she had felt freer then ever. Her life was no longer a secret and she wasnt the princess locked away for safety. With Goten she was allowed to make mistakes and to try new things. She was free to fly. Finally I find when I lose control inside my body crumbles it's like therapy for my broken soul inside my body crumbles Her life had become a whirlwind of lies and deceit. The truth was slipping away from her too fast for her to catch up. Somehow though she felt better living in a lie. As long as she was with Goten the rest of the time didnt matter. All I need's a moment, chance to get away from the stressfulness of every day know if I don't question and I never doubt everything is gonna be okay She spent every moment at home waiting to get away and back to Goten. She lived to be with him. In the back of her mind she could hear Eja and Piccolo telling her not to hang out with Goten. She knew she should at least try to listen to them but she couldnt. Things were better with Goten. Finally I find when I lose control inside my body crumbles it's like therapy for my broken soul inside my body crumbles I don't know if Ill be alright is it okay to be myself Why do we always have to fight now I know it's alright Finally I find when I lose control inside my body crumbles it's like therapy for my broken soul inside my body crumbles {Body Crumbles-Dry Cell} Ice finished singing and the whole place exploded in applause. She blushed slightly as she bowed. Wasnt that great everyone, Jack asked as Ice sat back down, lets give her another hand. There was more applause. Wow Ice you never told me you could sing like that, Xenta said, Youre great. Thanks, Ice blushed some more. Now lets move on to the next song, Jack said breaking the applause, the next number is 60. Goten stood up and went to the stage. He picked his song. This song goes out to my girlfriend, Goten smiled. I get a feeling I can't explain Whenever your eyes meet mine My heart spins in circles And I lose all space and time And now that we're standing face to face Somethin' tells me It's gonna be okay And I'm ready to fall in love tonight Ready to hold my heart open wide I can't promise forever but baby I'll try Yes, I'm ready to fall in love tonight Goten had really fallen for Ice. Whenever she looked at him he felt warm inside. When she touched him his skin burned like fire. He had never felt this way before and it scared him to death. He knew that he couldnt give her much but he really wanted to try. I know you've been watching Choosin' your moment I've been dreaming of that day No one before you has gotten to me this way And now that we're standing face to face There's something that I need to say And I'm ready to fall in love tonight Ready to hold my heart open wide I can't promise forever but baby I'll try Yes, I'm ready to fall in love tonight Nothing is certain, this I know Wherever we're headed I'm ready to go I can't promise forever but baby I'll try Yes I'm ready to fall in love tonight Yes I'm ready to fall in love tonight Yes, I'm ready to fall in love tonight {Ready to fall- Joey Fatone} I love you, Goten whispered into the microphone as the crowd clapped for him. He wasnt a bad singer but he wasnt really good either. It was his emotion behind the song that the people liked. Goten bowed and went back to sit down. That was great lets keep this party rolling, Jack shouted. Several other people were called up to sing. Things were going great. They were having fun. Piccolo and Xenta has escaped singing so far. Well everyone our next number is 45 again, Jack called out. Ice bounced out of her seat and up to the stage. Xenta took her glass and emptied another. If she were going to tell Piccolo she really needed to drink. Piccolo on the other had was still on his first glass, hed barely touched it. Alright I want to dedicate this song to my friend Eja, Ice winked at her. Miss independent Miss self-sufficient Miss keep your distance, no Miss on her own Miss almost grown Miss never let a man help her off her throne So, by keeping her heart protected She'd never ever feel rejected Little miss apprehensive Said ooh, she fell in love {Miss Independent-Kelly Clarkson} Ice sang the rest of the song powerfully. Something in the words touched Xentas heart, maybe because it was the truth or maybe because she was way over her limit. More time passed by the two couples. There were more songs, most of them bad enough to make your ears to bleed. The bar was starting to empty out. All right everyone thats left its just about that time now, Jack announced, we have one more song left and then its free style until closing. A small cheer came from the tables. Settle down, Jack laughed, our last forced song is number 107. every give a hand for our last number. The audience applauded. well guys thats me, Xenta stood up from her table and walked on stage. She looked over the computer screen then went to talk to Jack. Our friend here has requested a duet to be song. And she wants number 45 to come sing with her, Jack announced. This was a hit with the bar. Ice walked up to the stage. Xenta gave her direction on what part to sing then took to her mic. This song is for my boyfriend. I just want him to really listen to the words, Xenta told everyone, no more lies. [Xenta] If there's a prize for rotten judgment I guess I've already won that No man is worth the aggravation that's ancient history, been there, done that! [Ice] Who'd'ya think you're kiddin' He's the Earth and heaven to you Try to keep it hidden Honey, we can see right through you Girl, ya can't conceal it we know how ya feel and who you're thinking of Xenta knew this song was more her then any she had ever heard before. She had been burned and she felt that men were not worth her time, well most of them. Ice just sang along with her unaware of the struggle inside her friend. I could get away without telling him. He doesnt have to know. [Xenta] No chance, no way I won't say it, no, no [Ice] You swoon, you sigh why deny it, uh-oh [Xenta] It's too clich I won't say I'm in love I thought my heart had learned its lesson It feels so good when you start out My head is screaming get a grip, girl Unless you're dying to cry your heart out Oh [Ice] You keep on denying Who you are and how you're feeling Baby, we're not buying Hon, we saw ya hit the ceiling Face it like a grown-up When ya gonna own up That ya got, got, got it bad Tears started to form in Xentas eyes. She was remembering how she was almost too close to Vegeta not too long ago. She was able to escape that without too much damage but she did have one thing. One tear rolled down her right cheek. I need to stop thinking like this. Piccolo I- I-I dont think I can go through with this. [Xenta] No chance, now way I won't say it, no, no [Ice] Give up, give in Check the grin you're in love [Xenta] This scene won't play, I won't say I'm in love [Ice] You're doin flips read our lips You're in love [Xenta] You're way off base I won't say it Get off my case I won't say it Xenta closed her eyes as she sang causing a few more unnoticeable tears to fall from her eyes. Im lying to myself, either way I am. So what do I tell him? Can I deal with this all over again? I dont even know how long Im going to be here. And what will he say when he finds out I have to go back again? [Ice] Girl, don't be proud it's O.K. you're in love [Xenta] Oh At least out loud, I won't say I'm in love {I wont say (Im in love)- Hercules} She opened her eyes at the end of the song. The last bars of music faded out and the place was silent. No one made any noise. Xenta looked over at Piccolo to see if he understood what she meant. He nodded to her and started a slow clap. Others slowly joined in. The girls bowed and walked off stage. Mission accomplished, almost. Alright Im leaving now, jack announced, now dont all swarm the stage at once. He walked off stage. Piccolo stood up pushing his chair back. No one in the bar dared stand up against him as he walked up to the stage. Yay Uncle Piccolo, Ice cheered, youre going to sing. Piccolo too his time in picking a song then took the mic. This song goes out to my girlfriend, Piccolo choked out, no more lies. Every time we lie awake After every hit we take Every feeling that I get But I havent missed you yet Every roommate kept awake By every sigh and scream we make All the feelings that I get But I still don't miss you yet Only when I stop to think about it I hate everything about you Why do I love you I hate everything about you Why do I love you Piccolo sang fairly well even if he didnt like to admit it. The only reason he was even singing right now was to tell Xenta that he understood what she was trying to say; at least he thought he did. I still dont get exactly what she was trying to tell me but I have to tell her. After we leave here. Ill tell her. Every time we lie awake After every hit we take Every feeling that I get But I havent missed you yet Only when I stop to think about it I hate everything about you Why do I love you I hate everything about you Why do I love you Piccolo screamed out the hate. For a long time he did feel nothing toward Xenta. He wanted nothing to do with her. He could have hated her as well but he couldnt. There was something about her that, even in her worst moments I couldnt really hate her. Why do I love her, why? Only when I stop to think About you, I know Only when you stop to think About me, do you know I hate everything about you Why do I love you You hate everything about me Why do you love me I hate You hate I hate You love me I hate everything about you Why do I love you {(I hate) everything about you-Three days grace} Piccolo finished singing and walked off stage. He sat down at the table and took a sip of his drink. Someone else walked up on stage and started signing. Xenta downed another drink quickly. Can we get out of here please, Xenta asked. It is getting late, Piccolo added. Fine we can go, Ice smiled, I got to hear Uncle Piccolo sing Im happy. The four of them left the bar. Goten said his good byes in the parking lot and headed off in one direction. The other three silently headed off the opposite way, back to the compound. Silver was in horrible pain and she was unsure if she would live through it. It was all happening too fast. It was two months early. Sliver was in premature labor. Demi had said it was normal for cases like hers, whatever that meant. She screamed trying to rip into her skin with her claws. Is she supposed to be in this much pain, Cell asked worried that Silver was going to die for a cause she never wanted to start with. This is only natural in Jadeon birth, Demi answered, It has been a long time since Ive delivered a Jadeon child but I have a good memory Cell. If you must, paralyze her, Dende demanded coming into the room. If I do that she WILL die, Demi answered, Please master Dende leave us be. I will report to you all that happens. I will leave Moondust here with you, Dende said, she will come to me when the child is born. Yes of course, Demi answered. Dende left and Moondust took a seat near the door. The equipment in DenCorp was more than outdated for this job but Demi was the best at what she did. She had long wished that Dende would take the time to upgrade the machinery but of course he never did. Despite the lack of modern equipment Demi still knew that Silver was not having only one baby. Demi settled to her work as Silver screamed in pain. Cells heart wrenched every time her cry escaped her soft lips. Moondust sat still by the door not moving an inch but deep inside the woman was getting a sick twisted high off the helpless Jadeons cries. Demi talked her through the first baby. Come on Silver you can do this. I see the head, Demi told her and just like that the first child was born. Its a boy, Demi told everyone, part Jadeon part Namek. Good I will report success to our master and call for a name, Moondust said. Please wait then for the others to be born, Demi asked. Others, Moondust questioned. This was an event that no on had planed for. There are two more that need to be born. Please wait until we have them, Demi turned back as Silver screamed in pain. She pushed the second childs head out followed by the body. Its another boy, Demi told them, half Jadeon, part Saiya-jin, Ice-jin, android and Namek. The next child took forever to come. The baby was born thirty minutes after the second child he was do tiny Demi couldnt explain way he was alive. The boy is half Jadeon half Saiya-jin, Demi almost whispered. Moondust was out the door and down the hall. Silver Called out in her pain induced coma, His name is Breogg and Mohan, just as she called out her youngest sons name he fell limp in Demis arms. Silver Mohan had left us, she told the Jadeon female. There are still two, and Silver was asleep. They had a picture taken of the youngest child and Cells boy was handed off to him. Demi held onto Dendes baby. Dende came charging into the room. Triples, he fumed but drooped his voice at the site of the babies. Only one is yours master, Demi whispered. The others are well Cells and the other is dead but was Saiya-jin. Dende turned and rushed out of the room. Moondust came in after he left and looked at Dendes baby. She said one thing before leaving, Darmin. Xenta paced around her room at the compound. She was unsure if she should go seek out Piccolo to talk. She wanted to tell him the truth and they really needed to talk but where to have such a conversation. Staying inside was out of the question because Ice could over hear or walk in on them. If she let him choose the spot she right feel out of place and distracted. But if she chose the spot and things went bad then hes potentially upset one of her favorite places to go. So thats it, we just wont talk about this. Ill get over it and I can leave. I wont have to be near him anymore. She continued pacing around the room until there came a knock at the door. Come in, she called to the door going back to her pacing. The door opened and closed but she didnt look up. I knew youd come, she said making another round in the room. I think we need to talk, Piccolo said stepping into her path so she had to stop pacing. Can you please get out of my way, Xenta asked, Im trying to think. Piccolo reached out and pulled Xenta into a tight hug. He took this opportunity to transport them somewhere outside of the compound. Here we are now, Piccolo released Xenta. She looked around but was unsure of where she was. Great he chose. Dont worry Xenta, Piccolo said noticing the odd look on her face, were not too far from the compound but we are alone. She took a good look around, assured by Piccolos words. There was a wall a ways off that appeared to be too high to see over. The plant light looked relatively new, as if there had been a battle not too many years ago. This place seems sort of sad, Xenta said suddenly, as if some great transgression happened and it can never be taken back. There was a war here, Piccolo answered, and evil won. I see, Xenta nodded, so why did you bring me here? Its more for me than anything, he told her, when this war happened the old Piccolo died. Everything I ever cared about was buried and that wall was created. I lost everything here. Xenta tried to take a step toward him. Her heart ached because she wanted to comfort him but she was frozen to her spot. After that I ran away, Piccolo continued, I set up my clubs and hid away from everyone. They knew I was alive but I wasnt me anymore. And no one ever thought I would be again. Then you came along. You showed up in my life and turned things upside down. You wouldnt let me stay dead. A small smile crossed his lips. Xenta moved toward him but stopped before she reached him. You brought me back to life Xenta and there is nothing I can give you that is worth my life, Piccolo told her. Tears started to fall down Xentas cheeks. He doesnt love me. I helped him realized he loved someone else. The one thing I never thought I could ever do again you gave back to me, Piccolo smiled but stopped, Xenta are you crying? It was a sincere tone, not mocking or gloating. No, Xenta lied, Im happy for you. I hope the two of you will be happy together. Xenta turned and walked off toward the wall. This time Piccolo was glued to his spot. When Xenta reached the wall she placed a hand on it. Then she pulled back to punch the wall. She made contact and it felt good. She went to swing again but her fist only met air. She looked around to see Piccolo holding her arm tightly but not painfully. Leave me alone Piccolo, she demanded. Piccolo turned her around to face him. I wish I could and Kami knows Ive tried to but Xenta Im sorry I just cant, Piccolo leaned in a placed a soft kiss on her lips, I love you too much to leave you alone. Xenta blinked and starred into his eyes. She smiled softly at him slipping her around his neck and pulling his lips back down to meet her own. You know Piccolo, she whispered, I love you. I know, he whispered back transporting them back into her room at the compound. Xenta realized she was back in her room she smiled and pulled Piccolo toward her bed. |
