| Again Jescele and Kargue were in the entrance hall to the Purple Kat Kage. Two attractive purple men opened the door for them. The house music came flooding out in a wave toward the pair. Through the door, Eskargue could see clear to the bar. Look at her! Xenta always has guys with her! Kargue huffed, somewhat jealous. One for you, and one for me. She smirked. Yeah right. Im here to drink. Jescele answered rather sullenly. Kargue noted the change and in her attitude, and looked at her sideways. Jescele turned from her. Narrowing her eyes, Kargue stood in front of Jescele, blocking her path. She grabbed Jesceles chin and forced her to look at her. She slowly slid away the veil of her blonde hair to reveal a large bruise to the side of her face. Im sorry...what did you do? Kargue asked, her brow furrowed in concern. Jescele closed her eyes, and opening them slowly she answered. I lived. Eskargue was intent on asking her what she meant, but a voice called to them. Hey! Ive been waiting for you two. This is Mir-ow! Xenta began to greet them when the guy she was about to introduce nudged her roughly in the ribs. She shot him an angry look then continued. This is Trunks. Hello ladies. He said simply; but it was enough to melt Eskargue. Greetings, Im Kargue. She replied in her best I want you bad voice. The blonde at the bar in Silver. Kargue gestured to Jescele, who raised a hand as she down what was already her fourth shot. And this is Go...dog. Xenta finished, looking slightly unsure of her statement. Jescele finished yet another shot and turned to him. Are you serious? Your name is really Godog? Apparently! He answered, glaring at a sweat dropped, guilty-smiling Xenta. While Godog, Kargue, Xenta, and Trunks engaged in minor small talk, each with a drink in hand, and listened to Mangos tracks, Jescele sat at the bar downing shots like there was no tomorrow. Godog watched her secretly but intensely from the corner of his eyes; every move she made, every word she said...he wanted to drink in everything about her. Considering this is my last night here, Mango began, announcing to the whole club, I thought I would play a personal favorite, that Im sure youll enjoy too. So ladies, work what you got! The deep bass of Sir Mix-A-Lots Baby Got Back started blaring from the stereo system. The entire club went crazy. Jescele downed another shot and let out an excited shriek. Oh, I love this song! Dance with me! She grabbed Godog and raced to the middle of the dance floor. Whats with Silver tonight? Xenta asked, watching her dance. Kargue grimaced for a second then started to explain. Shes a little stressed. My dad has really been on her case about this one assignment shes on...she still hasnt finished it yet. Kargue turned, watching her dance for a second before turning back to Xenta and Trunks. I hope she doesnt pass out on the dance floor. She flipped back some of her long black hair, but made sure her antennae were still covered. Xenta laughed lightly, still watching the pair on the dance floor. Im more worried about Goha-dog. Im not to sure he can handle a sex beast like Silver. Ill be so pissed if I have to carry her ass home. Kargue said, ordering a beer fresh from the bar. How often does she do that sort of thing? Trunks asked, flashing Kargue his killer smile. It seemed vaguely familiar to her, and sent an excited chill up her spine. But Xenta didnt hear the question or the answer. She was too busy watching a pendant that flashed at Silvers chest. It was so familiar, if only she could get a better look. Then, for a moment Jesceles whole body turned to Xenta. She saw the pendant in all its entirety. It was made of abalone shell, a rare kind that could only be found off the coast of Australia. It consisted of different shades of blue, swirled together. The pendant itself was shaped like Australia, and Xenta knew exactly whom it belonged to. How could she be so careless! That idiot! My entire operation will be blown if I dont do something quick! [1]Toria timsha dihana! Xenta became enraged, powering up. If this all blows up in my face because this little brat cant have the presence of mind to keep her cover, Ill kill her! Im not losing my chance cause shes a drunken whore! The bottle of beer that Kargue was just about to take a drink from burst, spraying her face with beer. And as the dance mix ended, Jescele was so hyped and drunk that she was slowly morphing back to Jadeon. Suddenly the whole club was in a panic. Glass was shattering, the speakers burst; the entire building shook from Xentas power. Kargue quickly turned from Trunks when the beer splattered her face. She had to find Jescele and get out of there! She found her still on the dance floor, Godog protecting her from the sparks flying from the devastated electrical system all around them. In the chaos it was easy enough to snatch her away from him. Kargue your face! Jescele shouted, disturbed to see her half peach and green again; it reminded her of her beating from before. Your horns, Jescele! We got to get out of here! Eskargue shouted as she grabbed her wrist and pulled her inebriated Jadeon friend into the back alley. Trunks lunged for Xenta, to stop her from powering up any farther. At the rate she was going, the club would be nothing but rumble by the time she was done. But Xenta was going full out Washin, too powerful for him as he was. He would have to go Super Saiya-jin to even compare, which would only makes things worse. Xenta was not much more than an electric blue streak as she shot out of the club, and into the night. Xenta no! Whats wrong with you! Trunks screamed after her. But he might as well have been speaking to himself; she was long gone. Trunks, what happened?! Gohan, whom we know as Godog, asked ardently. I dont know, she just flipped out. Come on, we have to go after her! Trunks said as he turned toward the door. No! Gohan shouted, grabbing Trunks arm. Just let her calm down some. Im sure she has a good reason. We can trust her. What? Trunks questioned as he wrenched his arm from Gohan. There is one tremendously powerful and dangerously pissed off Washin fighter jetting over Japan as we speak! Think of all the damage she could cause! If you wont go after her I will. He ended, again turning for the door, from which almost the entire club had already exited. No, you wont. I know Xenta. And you are to follow my orders, Agent Briefs. Gohan said shortly, his onyx eyes burning sternly. Both Trunks and Gohan exited the club. Gohan mounted the bike outside, and turned to Mirai. Look, I know you didnt come back twenty years in time to be ordered around by someone who you dont even know in your time, but things are different here. Alien species cant just walk around in the open; we dont go flying around after people to farther break the rules once they have already been broken. And we have a chain of command that its important to follow. Weve only lasted this long by trusting each other and following these rules. He threw the lavender haired bishounen a pair of car keys. Ill take Xentas bike, you take my car. Ill see you back home, Mirai. Fine. Bye. Trunks answered roughly. He watched Gohan sped off on the bike, and walked to his car, starting the engine just as fire trucks and paramedics came speeding around the corner. Stupid Son! Trunks thought as he drove. You treat me like a little lackey! I came back all this way to warn you about Videl turning evil, turning her dad evil, and you, and you dont even care! In Flight... Jescele and Eskargue flew hard and fast, neither aware that Xenta was behind them. She was very good at hiding her power signature, even when highly powered as she was now. Hey, Kargue, why is your birthmark glowing? Jescele asked, her speech slightly slurred. Her normally almost completely unnoticeable Australian accent grew faintly thicker. What? Eskargue gingerly touched the white star on her forehead. I dont think it is, I think its just you. She answered quickly, almost nervously. I reckon. Sounds right. She replied, pumping her wings a few times in rapid succession. [2]Menay its hot! Eskargue flew slightly above Jescele, having a full view of her bareback. Little did Kargue know, but the dress had not been missing its back originally, but it was torn off when she returned to her natural form by her large wings and tail. Jescele pumped her spread wings every now and again to help keep her on course. She was using the summer thermals rising off the city streets to fly, instead of using her energy. I wonder what that tattoo on Jesceles back has to do with my dragon balls. Shes had it ever seen I could remember her. My Father must have put it on her when she was very young. I swear sometimes it looks like there is something, another mark, under it. Kargues mind continued to worry about the white star ruby dragon ball tattoo on almost all of her young Jadeon friends back as they flew. Not far behind flew one severely angered and charged Washin. Xenta was still cursing the both of them as she flew. Over a year! For a year and a half, Ive been clubbing with them and then bam! Agent Silver and Agent Ruby Star! Im gonna kill her, I seriously will! Id be doing her a favor too, snuffing out her sad existence. And for what she did to Kohl...Wait...[3]Aneis! She is wearing one of Chi-Chis dresses! Where the hell would Silver...Oh Kami! Xenta stopped mid-flight. Beat on her, check on the Sons...beat on her...check on the Sons...Damn these tough choices! On the Landing Platform... Jescele landed hard, hitting the marble wrong, and tumbling to a stop. Ouch. She whimpered slightly, standing back up. Kargue? The world around her began to spin. Oh...whatever...Kargue! She took a few more steps and simply dropped. Her body fell with a loud thud. Eskargue was only yards from landing behind Jescele when an arm wrapped around her waist, and another around her mouth. She struggled to get free, but something even held her legs in place. Kargue could only watch and listen to Jescele down on the platform, unable to respond to her calls. But immediately after the teen fell to the hard marble, she was released from her captures grasp. She turned to him fiercely, prepared to fight, but relaxed at the sight of him. Azarein! Oh what did you do to her now! Kargue whined. She cant take much more of you two. She added, landing with him. Shes stronger than she looks. Besides, your father needs a reminder of our deal. He answered in his solid Australian accent. His shadow hued lips curled into a provocative smile. Care to join me and help with the club? Your little Washin friend completely trashed the Kage. Our little community is simply in an uproar. I was surprised that Issa was back already...where is it you people disappear to, anyway? Eskargue pressed. Tsk, tsk, little star. That is not for you to know. He smiled wider, and extended his hand to her. Shall we? What about Jescele? And your business with my father? The pale green woman asked. No worries mate. Trust me, Jescele will take care of that for me. He ended, beginning to depart, Eskargue with him. The pair had not been gone but a minute when another figure landed on the platform, keeping its distance from the fallen Jadeon girl for some time, while Jesceles body began to glow with an unusual light... In Dendes Private Chambers... Waiting for the dragon balls to charge was a very mundane task that Dende was not enjoying. He quickly grew uninterested in his empty glass of wine, and without Jescele there to molest, he really had nothing fun to do. After sitting in his chair for about twenty minutes, the slight intoxicated Namek fell asleep. But, he wasnt having his usual dreams of world domination... Dende stood in complete darkness, a strong, purple ki blast glowing in each hand. The silvery female figure before him blazed like a silver flame, so unaffected by his readied attack. He released his two huge blasts upon her, laughing in his so certain victory. But the deadly ki missiles merely pasted through her smoke-like form. No! You are dead...I killed you myself! There is no way you can be here! Dende screamed in his dream, filled with terror, hate, and disbelief. The figure began to laugh with a dark, mocking voice. Ahahahahahaha! You stupid fool! You cannot kill me! In my blood flows the power of a whole world! You may be able to slow me down, but my time is coming. You could never end me! The female figure roared. Dende suddenly jolted awake, a cold sweat on his green brow. Just a dream...yes. I did kill her...she could never break my power... At the Son Home... Chi-Chi! Chi-Chi, Goku! Anybody! Xenta raced into the Son home, almost pulling the screen door off in her slight panic. Kami! I know she was here, I can feel it...why is it so quiet! Goodness Xenta, whats wrong? Chi-Chi answered, meeting her at the kitchen doorway, drying her hands with a dishtowel. Did something happen at Capsule Corp.? She questioned with concern, gesturing for the heated blue woman to sit with her at the kitchen table. No, not at CC... Are you ok? Was anyone here? I thought I saw... Xenta trailed off, reconsidering. Well fuck! You dont have to say anything if she wasnt here, but I know that was one of her dresses, I know it. And Silver never dresses ethic style to the Kage... Xentas expression showed nothing of her thoughts, and only made Chi-Chi more anxious. You thought you saw what? Come on now Xenta, something had you really upset, what was it? Chi-Chi urged her on, genuinely concerned at what could make Xenta barge into the house shouting. When Xenta didnt seen to want to explain, Chi-Chi added lightly. You swore you would never walk into this house unless I answered the door for fear of who you might find naked, remember? Right as if on cue, all three Son males came loudly into the kitchen, just in from a light sparring match. Goten was visiting his mother, for it was rather rare to find him and Gokou in such close proximity. Xenta slightly laughed, then shuttered, all three right there as a prime example. The Sons all watched Xenta, waiting for her to say something. Hurray, an audience. Her eyes shifted from Chi-Chi to Goten. What the hell is he staring at me like that for? Why is he even here for that matter? Uhhh, well I thought... Xenta started, again looking at Chi-Chi. It occurred to Chi-Chi that the boys might be making her unnerved. She knew Xenta pretty well, and being surrounded by the Son males wasnt her idea of a conversation. Hey boys, finish the dishes for me. She asked of the three of them. There was a rather loud group groan at the request, but one glare form Chi-Chi could make the Devil himself mop the floor if she so wished. Go on. She said to Xenta. Xenta pursed her lips in irritation. Well this was a seriously stupid idea... I thought I saw someone...A young lady, in one of those satin dresses you made. You know the Oriental style ones? Xenta half answered Chi-Chi, asking a question at the same time. Chi-Chi loved to talk, you just needed to give her something to go on about for hours; a trick she picked up from Juu. Goten and Gohan learned back slightly, listening closely to what the two women were saying. Both were deeply interested, and Gohan was also troubled. I knew that was why she freaked at the club! Damn her and her eye for detail. If she continues on with this, then everyone will know I helped save Agent Silver! It will ruin everything! Oh yes, I know what you are talking about. Gohan saved this young girl not just the other day. She was very badly hurt, and the clothes she was wearing were too bloody and torn to keep her in. I gave her one of my dresses, she seemed like she didnt get to wear a lot of nice clothes...rather odd of me I guess. I suppose I should have given her something less dressy since was recuperating and all. But that is beside the point. She disappeared before we could find out anything about her. That must be the girl you are speaking of...Is she all right? She shouldnt be out and about with how hurt she was. Xenta hadnt been listening to Chi-Chi at all, she had been thinking what would happen if everything were to be found out right then. She glanced toward the Sons, noticing that Gohan and Goten were trying real hard not to be obvious about eavesdropping. She was sure Gohan knew more than he was letting on. Ya know, this is the perfect time for Bulma and Vegeta to be gone on- What about me, woman? Vegetas gruff yet enticing voice interrupted. Xenta narrowed her eyes, and turned to him, leaning in the doorway, looking cocky and yet still attractive to her. Oh, so now you are back. Did you have fun? Vegetas bland expression turned into a huge, taunting grin. What I did on my honeymoon is really no concern of yours, but yes, I had a lot of fun. Vegeta made it a point to stress the word a lot as he sneered at Xenta. Oh please! Xenta rolled her eyes, glaring at him. Your infantile attempt to make me jealous wont work. Bulma deserves you. Vegetas smile faded and he cocked an eyebrow, trying to determine if Xentas remark was an insult. To this Xenta burst into a fit of laughter, Chi-Chi chuckling with her. Gohan breathed a sigh of relief. Now they wont be thinking about Silver. Those two can go at it for hours...Hard to believe they were once lovers. What is Goten looking at so intently? Gohan tried to follow his younger brothers gaze, but he couldnt figure out what had him so interested. Goten glared at Xenta. I cant believe she would be so careless...she almost let it slip, I know she did. You better watch yourself, Xenta; your playing a dangerous game, and no one will be on your side if you lose. Xenta and Vegeta continued to argue. It wasnt long before vulgar insults were flying and they took the fight outside. Eventually Goten, Gohan, and Chi-Chi broke them up before someone ended up with a fat lip. Serious! You two are impossible! There are enough people trying to kill us, we dont need to try to kill each other! Chi-Chi shouted, temporarily sending the combatants to their corners...temporarily. In Route... A silver viper convertible screamed down the street. Why do I even have this assignment? This is beneath me...How big a threat could one little tiny ki-less man be to someone like Lord Dende? I know he says he is a hero figure for the people, and with a hero they will never blindly follow his wishes, but people arent that easily swayed, are they? Jescele thought, parking her viper a few houses down from Mr. Satans compound. She easily escaped the guards and jumped the security gate, eluding even more guards. Damn, this man sure is paranoid... It didnt take long to find him. He and his daughter were lounging in the backyard. Jescele slinked silently and unseen into the bushes. She waited, observing them. Remember Videl, you can only marry someone strong, like me. Mr. Satans obnoxious voice commanded to his daughter from his point on the deck. Right dad. She answered back, humoring her eccentric father as she did laps in the pool. Strong like what? A limp noodle? Kami this is the easiest assignment Ive ever had! One little blast and his guy is dust, literally! Jescele raised her hand, and readied her blast. Pathetic really. She then let the blast fly. But another blast from her left caught her attention as someone else took out Videl at the same time. What the Fuck?! Dende doesnt have anyone else on this assignment, in fact he had plans for the girl...Who could the other shooter have been? She stayed where she was, perfectly alert, waiting for a sign of whoever else might be around. She caught a momentary flash of blonde spiky hair through the thick foliage. Thats couldnt be...could it? She excitedly gave chase, but whoever it was disappeared in a flash, and the guards were now coming to investigate the explosions. A Dista Menay! She screamed in aggravation once she was back in her car. Her phone rang. Yeah hold on. She spoke aloud to no one as she put in her earpiece. Ancho, Agent Silver. She responded. Ah, my pet, done with your assignment? Dendes voice questioned over the line. If my little Silver did a good job, I might soon be calling you Special Agent Silver. You know I like to reward good behavior...not as much as I like to punish out the bad though. He ended with an unobvious threat. Mr. Satan is destroyed, my Lord. But I wasnt the only one there, someone else killed the girl. She answered simply. Dende was silent for quite some time. Did you see who the other person was? No, they must have ITed. I see. Dendes voice turned darker now. Return to the Tower immediately. You and I have some...rewarding to do. He then hung up. Jescele moaned. Damn it! Nothing I do pleases him! And I just got feeling back from my last reward! Where ever did he get those cursed chains! Just thinking about it made her want to cry. The orange glow of those chains haunted her dreams, whenever she was actually permitted to sleep. They were painful, unbreakable, and power draining. She could remember the first time he used them on her, she fought back, but he got what he wanted in the end. He always gets what he wants. She whispered aloud to herself as she turned on the radio, hoping for something to help sooth her, or at least a distraction. |

| Came blaring out of the radio. Metallicas Master of Puppets wasnt what she wanted to hear right now. But she didnt change the station, just let the words pound her down, dig into her. ...One day things wont be like this...She thought about her golden haired hero until all the hurtful words not only of the song but of Dende melted out of her mind. But her moment of serenity was so quickly ruined, as she was waved into the private lot, driving to the top to park her viper. The entire elevator ride up the tower and walk to Dendes room she kept her mind blank. Even when he threw her roughly onto his bed, all she kept thinking was...One day things wont be like this...One day things wont be like this...One day... She felt the shackles of the chains close tight around her wrists, and saw the orange reflected in Dendes eyes. ...things wont be like this...Jescele closed her eyes tight, but none of the pain, embarrassment or torment went away. One day things wont be like this! |
