Supplies: spoons, beer, people, and a deck of cards

Have a number of spoons equal to one less than the number of players (example: 5 people-4 spoons). Fill a large glass with beer for some unlucky loser to drink at the end of the game.

Have everyone sit in a circle with the spoons in the center of the circle. The dealer deals 4 cards to each player. Each player can have only 4 cards at a time, including the dealer. The object is to get 4 of a kind or a straight. The dealer goes first and draws a card from the top of the deck, and discards one card. He/she then passes the unused card to the next player. The next player picks up the dealer's discard and discards one of his own (only 4 cards at a time). The last player in the circle discards the unused cards in a separate pile. When the dealer runs out of cards from the original deck, they may use the cards from the new discarded pile and start all over again.

When a player gets 4 of a kind or a straight, they may lunge for a spoon in the center of the circle. Following this, others should do the same. The person left without a spoon must drink the glass of beer. They may then refill the cup as much as they wish for the next loser to drink.
