    BEAVER, Thomas. All information from Civil War Pension Records. DOB: 2 Jan 1845 in Phila PA. Other records indicate it was 1848. 0: 23 May 1922 in Grosse, Brule County. I requested death certificate from vital records in Pierre and no record was on file. Married Sarah Ann ELLIOTT on 8 May 1872 in Phila. Her death occurred in Phila on II Aug 1891. Remarried, Martha SMITH 15 Oct 1907 Phila. Her date of death is unknown. Children from his first marriage are: 1. Laura BEAVER B: 28 Mar 1873, Phila. Spouse-BEHRENS no other info. 2. John BEAVER, B: 14 Apr 1876, Phila. Spouse-Unknown. no other info. 3. Emma BEAVER, B: 17 Aug 1878, Phila. Spouse-JACKSON, no other info. 4. Thomas BEAVER Jr, B: 20 Jan 1884, Phila. Spouse-Unknown, no other info. 5. Sarah Annie BEAVER, B: 5 Dec 1888, Phila. Spouse-GROSSE. A declaration for pension dated 8 Jan., 1914 at Brule County was attested to by F. O. GROSSE, no relationship shown. Thomas BEAVER moved to Grosse, Brule County, in Oct 1912 from Phila. I have not been able to find a town or area named Grosse, SD., however, the pension records list this as his place of residence. The parents of Thomas BEAVER were Charles Edward BEAVER, B: abt 1826 in Ireland. He died on 25 Jul 1901 in Phila and was buried in Monument Cemetery. He and all others buried there were moved to Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge PA in 1956. His Mother, Mary Ann SMITH, B: 1821 in Unk.  25 Jan 1848 in Phila, also
moved to Lawnview. I don't know which members of his family moved to SD, I'm guessing his daughter Sarah. Thomas had
a sister, Mary Annie BEAVER, B: 1841,1937 that married Owen Martin DAVIS, he died in 1867.She later married Michael L. KEUSCH. Thomas had at least two brothers, John BEAVER, B: abt 1844,0: 1882, in Lawnview Cem. Don't have other brother's name. I would like to locate his place of burial and any other information pertaining to our family that lived in that area. I am the great-grand nephew of Thomas through his sister Annie.     My mother's grandfather was the first territorial marshal. His name was Azerith AUSTIN. He had a ranch/farm outside Iona He was there before there was Lyman County. Any information would be helpful. He is mentioned in the book called Lyman County History, but his history was not gone into except to comment that they held dances and had harvest dinners at his place.     Hello. My name is Lars-Ake LUNDGREN, I am a genealogist from Sweden, and I am looking for my father uncles in
South Dakota. My father grandfathers name was Olof Anton JOHNSON and he was born 05.10.1838 in Vasterbotten Sweden. His wife was Anna Karolina JONASDOTTER born 07.09.1846. They immigrated to USA 02.25.1882, but I don't know where. In Sweden, people talk about he was going to Sioux Falls SD. The reason why I ask you is that we have an old photo of 0lof Anton  taken in a studio Picture Frames & Co North Main St. of Barton Alexandria.
   Olof Anton, had six children born in Sweden but we know they got more children in SD. Daughters and sons to Olof Anton   Anna Karolina:  Britta Karolina born 08.09.1863 and she was married to P.A. SANDSTROM born 08.05.1855. They immigrated to USA 07.06.1893. leg. Alftida lived for some time in Aberdeen, Brown Country SD, and she had two daughters, Wivi and Dorthy. I also know Arvid was married with Adeline SCHOEBERLE and they had 9 children and live in a place south west of
Salem SD. Children: Florence and she married Herbert KLONTZ, Children: Patricia- Herbert, Blanche. Clarence died
Isabelle married Ernest REIF, Winifted S.D. Children: John-Jerome-Jud, Robert Leo and he was married Amelia. Children:
Rita-Jerrt-Carlos-Marie, Anna Alice married Georg SCHOEPH divorced, Charles MUTH Pocatello Idaho. Daughter Diane
Muth. Hazel married Ernest KERKHOWE, Montrose S.D. Children: Edvard-Lavonne-Richard-Janice-DeWayne-Linda-
Karen-Ronald, Allan. They also raised 2 grandchildren of Edward's-Christopher, Barbara. Opal married Cecil
STOCKWELL, Sioux Falls S.D.Children: Cecil-Dennis (died in Vietnam War) Bruce-John, Lloyd. Donald married Dorothy
DAVIS. Children: Donna-Davieen. Second wife Dorothy LENTCH, lived in Canistola S.D. Elaine married Clement
HEUMILLER, Emery S.D. Children: Larry- Terry-Cheryl-Steven-Lori- Timothy-Scott-Daniel (deceased) and Michele.
That's what I know about the Sandstrom family.
    This information I get ftom Mrs. Elaine Heumiller before she passed away. Eva Matilda born 12.22 1868 married to
Abraham LUNDGREN and she also was my grandma but she stayed in Sweden. Five sons of Olof Anton took the second
name OLSON in S.D. Johan Anton Olson born 12.26.1871. He immigrated to USA 06.30.1885. I think he died in Canada.
Olof August Olson born 10.30.1871. He immigrated to USA 06.23.1889. Olof August and his wife was mutes. I think they
had a daughter, and I think they lived in or around Sioux Falls or in a place in Mc Cook County. Carl Oskar Olson born
10.16.1873. He immigrated to USA 06.23.1889, but I do not know where. Jonas Fredrik Olson born 06.22.1876. He
immigrated to USA 06.23.1885 to a place called Winifred, Lake Country. He was married with Ellen KLINGBERG 1903.
Jonas died 02.14.1920. Wife Ellen was born 04.10.1881 and died 03.08.1906. They had a daughter Alice born 06.21.1906
and she died 02.01.1974. She was married 03.05.1935 to Vernal VANDERHOFF they had no children. Ellen had a brother
named Clarens Klingberg and they lived in Salem S.D. Per Edvard Olson born 03.17.1879. He immigrated to USA
06.23.1889 to Lake County but later to Sioux Fall. He was also mutes and was married and get 3 children what I know. One
of the son's names was Wallace and I heard he was killed by a car accident for some year ago in your area (maybe)?
   This inquiry is direct to you on permits that property records from that period may some evidence that Mr. Johnson and 
or his family at some time resides in your area. I am most interested what happened with Olof Anton, Olof August, Carl ~
Oskar and Per Edwards families. Any comments, suggestions or information you may have will be much appreciated. If
some of the relatives are in live I would be very glad if I can have some address to the person who could know.
My wife would also like to get contact with her relatives in Sioux Falls. It was a sister to her grandmother who lived there
with her family. Her name was Charlotta Lovisa born Nov. 11 1871 in Degerfors Sweden. Her first husband was Nils
NILSSON ftom Sweden: Remarried to Stein H. DETLIE, they had four children (Oskar, Harry ,Edit and Margaret) and lived
in Sioux Falls. Charlotta passed away about 1938. Margaret was married to Gus West SANDWE, one daughter Charlotte,
and probably born in 1939.
    This is all information we have about Charlotta's family. We would be very grateful if you can help us to find their

My grandmother was Bessie G. FELTON  Davis born Jan.30,1899. She died of TB in 1934. Buried in Iona cemetery. DAVISES and LILLIES -1 would like to know if they are related to my grandfather.     William and Christine's DAVIS siblings are Edward, Henry (Bud), my grand father these are his brothers and sisters.
Pearl, Veva, Arnold, Lee, John, William Jr., George, Eva, Mary and David. The daughters married Henry BELL, Sid GRAY, BRAMMER, HAMMERBECK, SUND in the Lyman Co. area David and Mary drowned in the Missouri River while crossing the train bridge. Edward and William Jr., died in Wash. George in Stugis. John in Sioux Falls. They maybe still in the Iona, Hamiel, Winner, Kennebec, or Gregory area. SCHUTH, 1130 West Elsie At., Appleton, WI 54914 is looking for information on Amelia CARTER, her son, Joseph "Harvey" CARTER, and daughter, Marcella, who all lived in Chamberlain during the early 1900s. Amelia operated a boarding house. Harvey graduated from Chamberlain High School ca. 1916 and Marcella married someone named HAIGHT ca. 1922.
