Today was your very first birthday. We wanted to do something really special for you. We spent most of the day trying to find something you would like. We decided that since you are in Heaven playing with the other angels, we would send you some balloons. We left you one at your resting place and sent the rest to Heaven for you to see. I hope you caught them. We watched them rise until we couldn't see them anymore. We attached cards to them with spiritual thoughts that each had your name on them. We hope you have had a special day with the other baby angels.
I know you were watching as your sister, Summer, told you she loved you as she released the gifts to you. Your daddy sent you a beautiful balloon with your name on it. I left your teddy bear balloon on your teddy so you can play with it while we are visiting you. Don't worry, we are going to put it in your baby book soon. Your grandmother also gave you some balloons and a little blue cross to stay on your stone teddy.
We miss you so much. You will always be our baby boy.
