| The class is divided into two groups. The teacher works with one group while the paraprofessional works with the other group. | This is "reading for fun".� We use books, flannelboards, and role playing.� The children are given an opportunity to choose the books and stories. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Children are given opportunities to express creativity while moving to the music using different props (rhythm sticks, streamers, instruments).� We do activities to develop large muscle coordination.� We also work on keeping the beat to music.� This helps the children develop rhythm for reading. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
