Lubbock International Airport Spotting
Unlike other airports with a similar traffic flow, spotting at LBB is very simple and airport personel are very friendly.

APPROACHES FROM THE NORTH:
Take exit for control tower (you'll see sign) off of I-27. Then park right off of the road next to the cotton fields. If you want to get a bit closer you can pull up next to the fence on a dirt-road, but you are now on Texas A&M property.

APPROACHES FROM EAST:
Take terminal exit off of I-27 and drive down to the first left on a paved road after the road that takes you to the terminal. You should drive right past the Water Treatment Plant and right up the side of the end of the runway. If you are tall enough you can shoot through the fence, if not you might need to stand on your car.

APPROACHES FROM SOUTH:
Take exit after terminal exit off of I-29. Turn north on the road that right past Lubbock Aero. Drive until you see the landing lights.

APPROACHES FROM SOUTH:
Take the terminal exit off of I-27. Drive east and turn left onto a dirt road that runs right in line with the approach lights.
