Give thanks to the Father,
For sending His son.
That we might have life,
When this life is done.

Give thanks that He died,
For His blood that was shed.
As He said forgive then,
And then hung His head.

Give thanks for His grace,
That keeps us day by day.
For forgiving our sin,
There is no other way.

Give thanks for the blessings,
He so freely gives.
Give thanks that He came into our heart,
And so wonderfully lives.

Give thanks for this season,
Help us to be more thankful I pray.
As we gather with our families,
On this Thanksgiving Day.
