Long time ago, when she still was a little child, she woke up and saw the white light behind the closed curtains.
She forgot the cold, and stepped out of bed. She tiptoed on the cold floor opened the curtains and full of awe witnessed the snowflakes swiftly dancing down.

A child I was. But even then I knew this was a moment to remember. I forgot how I washed, dressed and ate. Even forgot what my mother said, or what the colours of my shoes were.

But I still feel myself touching the cold doorknob, opening the door, stepping outside in the cold fresh air and being part of this miracle.
I felt comfortably surrounded by the fluffy snow that softly carressed my face. It made me feel like dancing. And I danced under the huge trees near our home. and felt tiny but not at all alone. For this was one of the miracles of Christmas that came to be.
