~ Wolf's Christmas Gift ~

On the night of Christ's birth
the animals all across the earth
were spreading this miraculous word
from the smallest animal to the largest bird

As the wonder was shared with one another
it finally reached the wolf sisters and brothers
The snow was falling and it was growing late
but the wolves knew exactly how to celebrate...

In the winter's snowy cold weather
wolves from far away began to gather
and as the wolves all gathered there...
their beautiful howls filled the air

As each of their heads would lift
their howls soared into a melodious riff
all across earth as the winds began to shift
This was wolf's Christmas gift...

Across the world in Bethlehem
The Christ Child heard them
and it was a wondrous gift to Him
Within the stable's glimmering dark
wolf's song filled the Christ Child's heart...

This is wolf's Christmas message...
Gifts of the heart mean much more
than any gifts bought in a store
