Welcome, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to our Web page!� I hope that our
presence here is one that either gives you the information you need, or helps you
discover the treasures of the Holy Orthodox Church. Whatever the case may be, I
pray your journey is a blessed one. Our mission church was established in 1993
and we have been in our present location since December 1994.� The establishment
of our parish was in response to the many Orthodox Christians who have moved into
Prince William County and discovered that there was no local Orthodox Church.� We
are a parish in the Carpatho-Russian Diocese of Johnstown, Pennsylvania where
Metropolitan Nicholas Smisco is the presiding Hierarch.� Our God saved diocese is
under the protection of His All Holiness Bartholomew, Patriarch of Constantinople.
We, however, consider ourselves as a "Pan Orthodox Church" and celebrate all the
Divine Services in English.� Our parish is a tapestry of many ethnic backgrounds woven
into a praying community offering worship, praise and glory to our God. I hope that you
enjoy your visit with us on our Web page and I hope you will visit often.� I also hope that
you will come and celebrate the Divine Services with us whenever you can, and I pray
that you will constantly discover the grace of God filling every moment of your life.
