This is my 72 RS/Z28. Update as of 4/8/04. Well didn't get the RPM package for big blocks Edelbrock still has problems getting lifters?? So i ended up getting a Summit cam in the meantime. So it's not as fast as i would like but the engine builder says it's enough to beat most street cars out there. That and he said i will appreaciate the idle more since it's a street car. As promised a shot of the engine in the car just a few notes. One don't let anyone tell you that you can't fit tall style valve covers in a power brake car, Two  the right small block mounts will fit a big block. Going from a 350 to 454 a local chevy dealer tried to sell me motor mounts. He said there is no way a 454 will mount with the brackets you have. well surprise it did!

This is my 86 Vette, it is an L98, aluminum head 350 TPI. Auto 700R4 tranny, 3:07 gears, Temperature control, basicaly loaded with all the goodies. Not as fast as the camaro but that's not what I was looking for. So far the only thing i have done to it is a K&N filter, open air lid and a exhaust system. Sounds sweet!!! I looked into getting a cam done on it but it costs a small fortune.  Holy Smokes here's a good one for you! It seems the power booster is plastic on vettes with the cold weather we had this year it craked! yes craked never had that happen before. Anyway I call a chevy dealer and he says," That will run you $412.00." my only reply to that was to laugh and say," NO,No,No i don't need the solid gold one i just need the regular one." Then he comes back and says thats what you get whenever you mention the word Vette for a parts order.  I didn't go with new i bought used from corvette salvage great bunch of guys.
