All five of FIVE appeared on MTV Select in the UK on Thursday,
27 September and announced that
they have decided to go their separate ways. There was no
fighting, no problems between them, and they remain the best of
friends... they just don't have the
desire to go on anymore. Five's big goal the past year was to
get this new album out the way THEY wanted it done... and they
did it brilliantly with "Kingsize". J said that they just couldn't do themselves or their
fans justice anymore. Rich thanked all the fans everywhere for
their support. Abs added a final note by turning around and
showing off the words "C YA" shaved onto the back of
his head. All the lads were sure in their decision but looked very sad indeed...Sept 29th was also the 33rd birthday of Five's tour manager John Pryer... hell of a birthday for you, John!
