She sits alone beneath an eerie sky, Wondering how and asking why, How could he leave without saying goodbye? Why did he leave her here to die? With thick red tears, her abandoned heart cries. He will come back, her soul silently lies. What she doesn't know is he's gone for life And he's left her alone with the gleaming knife. Drawing the blade across her skin, She wonders if she'd feel it plunge within. Could she feel it despite the pain she's in? Nothing could be worse than losing his love, She'd take Hell below over Heaven above. How could she have made such a terrible mistake? She helplessly offered more than he could take And her heart his deception did so swiftly break. Around her soul is an impenetrable wall, Never again will she let herself fall.
