Now That I�m Here

I lurk in the darkness around every corner,
Following you like a shadow
That, even at night, refuses to disappear.
You try to run away, but you never get far
For you leave behind a trail of tears.

You shouldn�t be so afraid.
After all, you�re the one who sent for me,
The one who cries out for me in your dreams.
You�re the one who searches for me,
The one who needs me to mend your broken heart.

Now that I�m here, you just want me gone.
You won�t even give me a chance.
I don�t understand what I�ve done wrong.
Did I take too long to come to you?
Did you think I�d never show?

I�m sorry if I�ve hurt you,
But there�s something you should know.
Love comes to those who never give up,
To those who never lose faith.
Please don�t lose faith in me, now that I�m finally here.
