If love were a bird it would soar
        Through wind and rain
       From my heart to yours.
             If love had wings
They'd close around your heart
         Like a child's hand
      Around a lucky penny.
           If love could fly,
         I'd be at your side,
      Not a moment of doubt
        Holding me back,
   But if only love would land
    Would I never love to fly.
