Your eyes burn tears that stain your cheeks,
Tears that incinerate your clothes like acid,
Toxic tears that no one can brush away.
Nothing can stop the tears that burn.

No one knows why you cry.
They can't understand your pain.
They look at you and see what they want to,
Not what is really there.

I know what's inside,
I know that it's loving and sweet,
But they'll never really notice you
Unless you show them.

Your tears will keep burning,
Keep peeling your life away.
They'll just keep pointing,
laughing louder than before.

There's no hiding from them,
You can't just disappear,
They'll follow the burnt grass
Bloodstained with tears.
