Only Human

I'm only human, I make mistakes.
Don't hold my imperfections against me.
I can't help it if sometimes it seems
The wrong way is just so much easier.
I can't help it when my heart breaks.
There's not much I can do.
I'm only human.  I feel sadness, too.
I know how much it hurts to be brushed aside.
Don't look at me that way;
I have problems inside,
Problems I can't fix, problems I can't hide.
I'm only human, I'll never change.
What you see is what you get.
Take me as I am or forget we ever met,
Just turn around and walk away.
Open your eyes and one day you'll see,
You're only human, just like me.
