Make You See

How hard must I try to make you see?
Make you see that I love you so much
It breaks my heart when you walk by?
The harder I try, the more it hurts.

What must I say to make you listen?
Listen to the cries of my aching heart
As it breaks in two?
The more I speak, the less you seem to hear.

Tell me, what must I do to make you feel?
Feel for me the love I feel for you?
Should I hold my heart in my hands
So you can see, so you can feel,
So you can hear how hard it beats for you?

Or should I keep waiting, wishing, hoping,
That some day you will finally
See me, hear me, feel me,
Right there beside you, my heart in my hands,
Beating endlessly for you?

How hard must I try to make you see?
Make you see that every time you walk by,
You're holding my heart in your hands?
