Can't Feel My Heart

I can't feel my heart.
It's not beating anymore.
Let go, let go, this isn't fair.
You make me love you,
And I die inside
Each time you disappear.
I can't help it
I can't feel my heart
It's numb when you are near,
And frozen when you're gone.
The tears, they form,
But do not fall.
I cannot weep for someone
I cannot touch.
What reason have you given
For me to love you this much?
What reason, indeed?
I can't feel my heart
It's not beating anymore.
What right do you have
To steal my every breath,
To invade my every dream,
To make me feel a love
For eyes I have never seen?
I can't feel my heart,
You're holding it too tight.
Let go, let go, before it breaks,
And bleeds into the night.
