TOLLYJOY LIQUID BABY CLEANSER
(250ml), $3.80 at all major departmental stores and supermarkets

KL: The fragrance has a clinical smell; not very pleasant. Overall performance is quite okay. It lathered and washed off well.

LP: My daughter and I didn't like the texture and smell. It dried the skin.

KM:
The herbal fragrance is a bit overpowering. The hole is too big making it hard to control quantity But it worked up a good lather and washed off well.

RI:
Fragrance was okay. It lathered and washed off well, leaving baby smelling very nice after bath.

KODOMO BABY BATH
(1000ml), $8.20 at supermarkets and major retail outlets

KL: Very good. Its texture and fragrance were mild, and it washed off well. It is quite value for money.

LP:
One of my favourites. It can actually be used from head to toe though it says for the body. Because it's so mild, I used it for hair as well and it was all right. It left a nice smooth layer on the skin too, as if it had been moisturised.

KM: Nice soft fragrance. Didn't wash off easily from hair. Lathered well.

RI: I liked the convenience of the pump bottle. It had a very powdery smell that was too strong. Being too foamy meant a longer time washing it off.

JAPLO BABY BATH
(250ml) $5.90 at all major departmental stores and retail outlets

KL: Nice fragrance but a bit too strong. Its performance was okay. But I think my baby's eyes were a bit sensitive to it. His eyes turned red after the bath.

LP:
It didnt have a fragrance, so I didn't have to worry it would irritate the skin. It's mild. I liked the fact that it didn't foam very much and rinsed off easily.

KM: I
didn't like the smell, it was too bubble-gummy. But it worked up a good lather and washed off well.

RI:
Nice smell. It lathered and washed off well. Nothing outstanding.

JOHNSON'S BABY TOP TO TOE WASH
(200ml) $3.90 at all leading supermarkets, pharmacies and retail outlets

KL: The size is good for travelling, and the fragrance is pleasant. Its texture was good and it washed off quite easily. Good, overall. It lived up to its name.

LP: My favourite. My baby's hair is thick but it kept her hair soft and free of tangles. Fragrance was just right. Didn't irritate the eyes.

KM: A
nice soft fragrance There was good foam and it washed off easily. Good value for money.

RL Very pleasant fragrance. Washed off well but could have been a little more foamy. The fragrance didn't stay on baby's skin very long, though.

AVENT BODY & HAIR WASH
(250ml), $13 at Robinsons, Takashimaya and John
Little

KL: The fragrance was like perfume, much too strong. I think it'd be more suitable for adults. Though it's convenient because you can use on both hair and body, its quality was only average.

LP: Acts as a very good moisturiser. Skin was still very smooth even after a few hours. Suppose to be a head to toe solution but I found it dried and tangled hair. The spillproof
bottle is a very good feature for my daughter who baths on her own!

SK: It really smelt so good, a luxurious lovely water-lily fragrance. It was easy to wash off.

R L: Very pleasant fragrance. Washed off well after average lather. It's troublesome to use though. You need to remove the cap then press for the soap.

MOTHERCARE BABY BATH
(300ml), $4.50 at Mothercare stores

KL: The previous Mothercare Bath I used was more pleasant; this one had a little clinical smell. Quality-wise, both versions are the same.

LP: There's a very strong fragrance and it seemed to irritate my daughter's skin a little. The texture is fine. I used it as a shampoo too but her hair was dry after wash.

KM: A lovely baby smell but it was runny. Washes off easily. The moisturiser is a plus.

RL: Pleasant fragrance but it didn't last after the bath. It was runny and I needed to use a lot to make foam. Washed off well.

PIGEON BABY LIQUID SOAP
(200ml), $6.10 at Takashimaya, Seiyu, Metro, supermarkets and other leading stores

KL: My favourite. The jojoba was very good! After the bath, my baby's skin was very smooth and I could still smell the fragrance, which is nice. I never knew that my baby's skin could be so smooth.

LP: Quite a mild solution. It leaves the skin feeling like there's a layer of moisturiser too. Nice fragrance. Good!

KM: Nice soft fragrance. But a bit difficult to wash off hair.

R
L: Nice smell that lingered on. Washed off well but could be a little more foamy. Good quality and I like the packaging.

PUREEN BABY BATH

(350ml), $4.30 at leading pharmacies, baby boutiques, supermarkets, departmental stores and medical halls

KL: Nothing outstanding but its quite value for money.

LP: This is an easy-to-use bottle. Doesn't give you a lot of foam, which makes for easy rinsing. Satisfactory but the fragrance is a bit too strong. KM: Nice baby fragrance but difficult to wash off hair.

R
L: A good quality bath I've been using. Works up a good lather and washes off well. Skin feels soft after use and there's a nice smell.

JOHNSON'S BABY BATH
(200ml), $3.50 at all leading supermarkets, pharmacies and retail outlets

KL: The smell was very good and it cleansed well. I liked this brand.

LP: It's mild, doesn't irritate the eyes and bottle is easy for kids to handle during bath.

KM: It was a bit difficult to wash off hair. The fragrance was light and pleasant, though, very nice.

RL: A good quality bath that lathered and washed off well. It had a very pleasant fragrance that stays on baby's skin.
