The picture you see on the left is called Stupa. This is the Swoyambhunath Stupa from Kathmandu. Budhists as well as Hindus worship inside the Stupa. There is a hugh idol of lord Budha inside. There are many Stupas located in Kathmandu valley. Another famous Stupa is Boudhanath Stupa located in Boudha in Kathmandu. The picture you see at the very top is Boudhanath Stupa.
