(3AM Mulder knocks on motel room door)
<Mulder> (thinks maybe he should have got the key from manager.)
<Scully> (Scully yawns, and sleepily walks to the door, and looks to see who it is; she opens it when Mulder is standing there)
<Mulder> Hey, Scully...sorry, I didn't want to wake you. But by the time I thought to check with the office, I had already knocked.
<Scully> It's ok Mulder. You're back later than I thought you would be.
<Mulder> Yeah, the shit hit the fan tonight.
<Scully> (becomes fully awake with his tone) What happened?
<Mulder> Well, Tabrizi is dead...it's over.
<Scully> How? What. . . ? (Scully notices the band aid on his head)
<Mulder> Doggett shot him...after he held Reyes and I hostage for a short while. Sit down, Scully, it's a long story
(They both sit on the bed)
<Scully> Oh my God, is everyone all right? (sits on bed)
<Mulder> Yeah, everyone's fine. I would have called you, but we had it all under control. It seems Tabrizi knew the real killer for some length of time but he killed him about 3 years ago when he figured out that his friend was a serial killer.
<Scully> But the murder's just started!
<Mulder> No actually, they had been going on for ovewr ten years...Apparently, his friend, Steve Riley, was into the satanic cults, so Reyes was right about that. But he'd been doing these sacrifices, taking body parts, etc and Luke Doggett was just one of his many victims.
<Scully> How is Doggett taking this?
<Mulder> I think he's ok...he's glad that it's over...at least now his son can rest. Let me finish the story...
<Scully> Ok, sorry.
<Mulder> Tabrizi caught on to his Friend after his son was murdered in a similar way and decided to take his revenge right away...but what he didn't know, was that Riley had performed some kind of a ritual or spell that makes the person who thinks about him, which happened to be Tabrizi and then me at one point see the enemy in anyone they come into contact that has the closet resemblenc to him.
<Scully> So this was all revenge? All the murders?
<Mulder> Yes, but Tabrizi only knew about the spell recently
<Scully> And that's why he ran from Doggett and I the other day that's right....and he thought he could break it if he followed the another ritual, replacing the same body parts that Riley stole from the their victims and then sacrificing himself as a replacement for Riley...the only thing was...he had to get Doggett to kill him.
<Scully> And that broke the spell?
<Mulder> It seems so...Of course Doggett wouldn't do it voluntarily so he gave him a little incentive by kidnapping and threating Reyes and me...
<Scully> (looks upset a the mention of them being threatened) Are you both all right?
<Mulder> Yeah, we're all ok...so once he got Doggett alone, he explained it all, but forced John into killing...but it wasn't until then that we realized that he was right...Tabrizi's body looked like someone else completely. Reyes & Doggett are still trying to explain that to the authorities. I believe once they take his fingerprints, that he will end up being Steve Riley...the true murderer. Anyway, I wanted to get out of there...We've done all we can do Scully. Don't you think it's time we get back to our very special kid? (smiles) I bet he misses you.
<Scully> He missed both of us.
<Scully> I'm glad  you are allright. (hugs him tightly)
(Mulder hugs her back greatfully) Hey, you know me.
<Scully> I do, and that is what worries me.

<Mulder> Did u get any sleep?
<Scully> A little. You know I don't sleep when you aren't here.
<Mulder>  Well, it's a good thing I'm here now (pulls back the sheets on the bed and helps her crawl back in)
<Scully> (lays her hand on his cheek)
(Mulder looks her in the eyes deeply)
<Scully> You coming, G-man? (smiles at him)
<Mulder> (smiles brightly) Oh yeah! (under his breath) Maybe even more than once.(crawls under the covers with her and tries to kiss her)
<Scully> (laughs) Very cute, Mulder.
<Mulder> I know you are but what am I?
<Scully> My second child. Sometimes I swear I have two.
<Mulder> The more the merrier? (Mulder swiches the lamp off)
<Scully> But to answer your question, you are the man I love with all my heart and I want to prove it to you! (smiles flirtingly)
<Mulder>You already have, Scully...tomorrow we'll be back at home with that beautiful baby and we'll all be happy. There's no alien or monster chases, and there's no conspiracies to worry about... I think that proves it right there, Scully.
<Scully> You always know exactly what to say. Mulder, let's go home!
(They kiss)
