One day in the Silver Millennium, when Queen Serenity was stil a princess and Serena's grandmother (Queen Serenity Tranquility) was Queen of the Moon, Versia and Eclipse found a baby in an alleyway. They raised her together as their foster daughter, and named her Rose, for her rosy disposition.

Her secret dream is to be an archeologist, and she hates it when Versia mothers her, as if she were still five. But, knowing her foster mother's need to protect someone, she lets her without complaint.

Her personality is that of a mild pleaser; she likes everyone to be happy with her. She is a good judge of character, and when things get confusing or near out of hand, it is almost always her who brings things back to focus, where Serena -who she admires greatly- takes over.

Her secret, most deepest desire is to be a Sailor Senshi; she hates being helpless, so she does what she can otherwise.
