Objectives
The  objectives of the Club, which is an affiliate of the New South Wales Amateur Swimming Association are :-

The teaching and encouragement of swimming and natatorial sport, and

Promote the study and practice of Life Saving as taught by the Royal Life Saving Society of Australia.

Age Condidtions
Entry to events and carnivals is based on age. The following criteria applies to Carnivals, Championships and Club meets :-

Supervision - Swimmers under 12 years must be accompanied by a responsible person.

         
Central Tablelands Swimming Association
Age at the first C.T.S. Carnival.
        
Shell Sprint
Age at date of event (up to 13 years).
         
Lawson Amateur Swimming Club Events
Age at date of first Club Meet - 15th October, 1999.
         
Lawson Amateur Swimming Club Championships
Age at date of first Championship night - 25th February, 2000.


Qualifying Times
It is the responsiblity of the individual swimmer who swims at carnivals, to make sure they have recorded any qualifying times that may be necessary for them to compete at these carnivals, or particular events.

If the Friday night program does not allow for these events, the swimmer must advise the committee that he/she wishes to record a time for that event.

Distance Swims
Distance swims must be continuous and can be swum in any recognised swimming or life saving stroke.

Swimming Club members shall be present to record laps during distance swims.

Distance swims will be near the end of the nights events.
