Currently taking late registrations for 1999-2000 Season

We conduct Club meets each Friday evening throughout the summer months from 5:45pm Sharp, using Lawson Olympic Pool that is constantly heated to a temperature wonderful temperature of 26 degrees

Historical Information
Our Club's history dates way back to before 1936 !
We are the oldest Club in the Central Tablelands region and may be one of the oldest Swimming Clubs in NSW

Little is known of our Club's history as most records have been lost in the system of past committee's. We can however trace our Club's history back to 1936. We have been informed that the Club may have been set up after the last of the steam trains came up the mountains, as our pool is located in the old water storage area where it was pumped up the hill into tanks that now house Lawson Bowling Club. If anyone knows when the last of the steam trains came up the mountains please let us know. Or if anyone knows any more of our Club's history drop us a line.

A Brief Introduction

Lawson Amateur Swimming Club is a non-profit organisation that conducts Swimming meets every Friday evening throughout summer at Lawson Olympic Pool, located in Lawson in the Blue Mountains, NSW Australia.
As a Club we encourage and promote swimming for all abilities and ages !
We have a club resident Club Coach who conducts regular training programs for Club members only !
