| Hi. My name is Lawren and I live in sunny California. I love Scrabble and WordSteal. and much of my online time is devoted to these games. Another interest is electro-mechanical design. They actually pay me to do this... Amongst many diverse projects I have designed ride controls for Disneyland and custom interiors for Air Force One and the Emir of Kuwait's private jet. |

| My primary hobby is Scrabble. I play in tournaments throughout the US as well as Canada and Britain. I also enjoy amateur photography, massage (I'm a California state certified massage therapist), collecting recipes (I even cook once in a while!), researching my family tree, amateur astronomy, Chinese and Western astrology, meditation, aromatherapy, collecting crystals and gemstones, and strolling around the beach. I belong to a beautiful private resort in the desert where you can usually find me in the jacuzzi or lounging beside the pool with a good book. I love travel and adventure and have been to 23 countries and 24 states in the US. In my quieter moments I enjoy reading nonfiction, particularly anything related to jungian psychology and symbols of the collective unconscious (archetypes), ancient civilizations, mythology, alternative history, the origins of religion, the integration of body & mind, sacred geometry, feng shui, the Qabala, and arcana in general. You are also very likely to find me studying dictionaries and word lists which I use for Scrabble. My spiritual perspective is eclectic and I do not subscribe to any one religion. I am not politically active, but my political ideals are most closely aligned with Libertarianism. In keeping with the words of the great humanitarian, Dr. Albert Schweitzer, "Until he extends his circle of compassion to all living things, man himself will not find peace," I support charities that promote the ethical treatment of animals and have been a vegetarian for over 20 years. |

| I have three older half-sisters and a half-brother who are all happily married. I also had wonderful, caring parents. My mother and father have both recently passed away peacefully. I have many online friends, mostly as a result of my Scrabble activities, and a few close personal friends I've had for many years. |
