I Smelled the Fragrance of the Lord
Mid February 1978 at Church of God (thank you Jesus, I will always remember that wonderful smell)
Pastor Drews invited me to a meeting that the church of God was having for all the Church of God ministries. Preston and I were there. The Holy Spirit was moving upon people there. The place was really filled the pastors from all over, which pastored at various congregations sanctioned by the Church of God. Well, the one speaking asked if everyone would come up front and worship God, so I Went up to the front. I smelled a wonderful smell. I looked around to see if someone opened a bottle of something in the church, but I could not see anything. I even started to go around the church and started opening doors to see if someone had opened a bottle of something in another room but look as I may. I could not find anyone. That is because, what I smelled was the fragrance of the Lord. It was a heavenly experience. So when we all sat down. I stood and told everybody about smelling the fragrance of the Lord. They all sat very quiet while I spoke; there was a Holy hush in the room. I felt the Holy Spirit when I was talking. I just praise the Lord for that experience. This has happened to me on more than one occasion over the years. Praise be to our Heavenly Father.
