Sunday Live! (3/3)
Live from the Bramlage Coliseum on the
Kansas State University's campus in Manhattan, Kansas.
Pyros go off and “Live! Theme” hits. Immediately “War Pigs” by Black Sabbath hits and Prez. J. Davis enters the arena. He walks purposely down to the ring, climbs the ringsteps, gets into the ring, and asks for the microphone.
Davis: “First, I’d like to thank all of you fans here in Manhattan, Kansas for joining us tonight! We have a near sell-out crowd on hand for the first ever XHW Live!
“I have several announcements coming over the next few days, but I would first like to get something off of my chest. On Friday night I signed a match between ThirdIBlind and Brian “The Milkman” Baloney. I had forgiven The Milkman for his words on Wednesday, but he felt he would take it upon himself to humiliate ThirdIBlind, me, and, most importantly, the XHW!! You thought it was real funny didn’t you, Milkman. Well, what I have in store for you, you will not laugh at, oh no… you might not even make a sound because your jaw will be wired shut!
“Back to the show, tonight we have some great matches ready for you tonight!! And later this month will be the first XHW PPV. More information on that huge event later in the week!”
(Commercial Break)
The arena lights go to black as a green mist spreads over the arena. “SiC” by Slipknot hits and green pyros at the top of the stage go off. Acid-X paces down to the ring, slides under the bottom rope, and crosses his arms as green pyros explode from each ring post.
The lights go dim and Disturbed’s “Psycho” blares. The “Essence of Death” Doomsday enters the arena and slides into the ring.
The lights turn back up and Big Daddy T-Bone walks down to the ring, waiting on the outside for his partner, The Reverend.
(A montage of clips from the Bruce Bolt vs. Reverend match on Boiling Point. It concludes with The Reverend being busted wide open with a fire extinguisher and then Bolt locking on a STF. Bolt earns the victory.)
“Just As I Am” begins to play and The Reverend limps down to the ring, his head is bandaged and he seems to be favoring his left leg.
The Reverend and Acid-X start this match. Swinging neckbreaker by Acid-X followed by a moonsault. Cover...1…2…kickout. Acid-X misses a clothesline, The Reverend
with a jumping DDT. Reverend ascends
the turnbuckle. Acid-X nails him in the
stomach and tags in Doomsday. Doomsday
climbs the opposite corner, while Acid-X hits The Reverend with a double
underhook superplex. Doomsday with
flying elbowdrop…1…2…right shoulder up.
Doomsday with a lariat. The
Insane Asylum come to ringside. The
Reverend gets hit with a German Suplex.
Doomsday with a Boston crab, T-Bone makes the save. The Reverend gets up and throws his opponent
off of the ropes, then executes a backdrop.
The Reverend with a bulldog, then “The Baptism!!” Cover…1…2… Acid-X with the save. Reverend with an Indian deathlock, let’s go
after 22 seconds. The Reverend tags out
to Big Daddy. They hit D-Day with a
double DDT. The Reverend leaves the
ring. T-Bone with a headbutt. Doomsday is woozy, he gets hit by a
jack-knife powerbomb. Big Daddy goes
for the Vertebral Grind, but Doomsday rolls away and is able to make the
tag. Acid-X enters the ring and catches
T-Bone with a reverse neckbreaker, then he climbs the ropes. Frogslash! Cover…1…2…kickout. Acid-X picks Big Daddy up and places him on
the turnbuckle, he goes for a butterfly superplex, but is thrown off of the
ropes. T-Bone goes for a clothesline,
but is hit with a Victory Roll. 1…2…The
Maniac breaks up the pin. Big Daddy
with a short lariat. Big Daddy T-Bone
with a jumping DDT. T-Bone places his
opponent on the turnbuckle and hits him a top-rope Frankensteiner!! Cover…1…2…shoulder up. T-Bone tags out to The Reverend. Reverend with a low blow. then a spinning
powerbomb. Reverend misses with a
legdrop and Acid-X wriggles over to tag Doomsday. Doomsday with a football tackle.
Doomsday places The Reverend on the top turnbuckle and attempts the
“Doomsday Device,” but it is blocked.
The Reverend descends the ropes and catches the running Doomsday with
“Angel Wings.” Reverend with a spinebuster,
then a legdrop. The Reverend
clotheslines his opponent to the outside.
Doomsday runs around the ring, slides back in, and tags in Acid-X. Acid-X with a Russian legsweep on the
reentering Reverend. Acid-X with
another butterfly superplex…1…2…The Maniac breaks up the pin again. The Reverend tags out to T-Bone. T-Bone gets hit with a series of chops to
the chest, then “The Dark Power of Evil”…1…2…in the ropes. Acid-X tags out to Doomsday. Doomsday with a Sharpshooter, but The Maniac
enters the ring and breaks up the pin.
Doomsday is taunting The Insane Asylum, which allows The Reverend to
enter the ring and take control of the match.
The Reverend executes “The Baptism” on Doomsday, but The Lunatic breaks
up the pin attempt. The Reverend with a
leg lariat attempt, but he is caught and is dropped with a modified side suplex
by Doomsday. Doomsday places The
Reverend on the turnbuckle and signals for a Frankensteiner. The Reverend catches him and drops Doomsday
with a top-rope tiger driver…1…2…3.
After the match, The Insane Asylum took advantage of the
situation. They destroyed all four
competitors and then left the ring.
(We go
backstage. Scene opens D.M.K is shown
in the backstage area with his lovely valet Candi. D.M.K is sitting down with a
smirk on his face, as Candi rubs his shoulders from behind D.M.K looks at the
camera......)
DMK: "I know
what you’re thinking.... you’re thinking, ‘D.M.K, you have it all why would you
wanna risk your gorgeous body in a scaffold match? Why would you risk that
pretty boy face of yours in that dangerous match? You have so much, you have a
beautiful valet Candi that does anything you want, ANYTHING you want. You have all the female fans screaming for a
chance to just touch your incredible body.
You can have it, anything you want.’.....Well I’ll tell you why ‘cause
I’m the man, and I can! Because no one
can do hardcore like I can, no one! And
besides I have a problem with a certain man, a man who took it upon himself to
bust me open, who took it upon himself to get in my business and spit on me
when I was down. That man is none other
then TIB!!! You all saw him provoke me
last Tuesday!! So now I have no choice
but to risk it all in a
Scaffold
match!!"
(D.M.K makes Candi
leave the room, as he is noticeably angry.
His mood goes from cocky into rage!....)
DMK: "Look
TIB, right now the match is said to be too extreme and too dangerous and high
risk, but I’m not gonna stop pushing for this match until the front office
gives me my revenge! Until they allow
this match to take place, I’ma make your life hell! I’m gonna get you where it
hurts most. You know exactly what I mean, so I suggest you watch your
back! Look around every corner! Look behind every curtain! Because you never
know when I’m gonna take my revenge into my own hands.... basically what I’m
saying is....this is on your conscience, this is gonna eat away at you. Not
knowing where I am at, not knowing when you’ll face me. But knowing deep down
inside your mind that we will meet and we will meet in a SCAFFOLD MATCH and
I’ll stop at nothing until
I get my
match!!!"
(D.M.K kicks the
camera man out and Candi comes back in and tries to calm down DMK. Scene fades to black.)
(Commercial Break)
As we come back from commercial, a backstage camera catches The Milkman walking out of a locker room drinking a bottle of water. Henry Johns, the backstage reporter, walks up to Baloney.
HJ: "Milkman, DMK seems to have called your bluff so to
speak. Are you and ThirdIBlind going to have this "so-called" match
that you were all for the other day?"
Milkman: "..........(stares at Henry)........Henry? Why do you ask
such ignorant questions? You and everyone in this arena knows that I would LOVE
a match with ThirdIBlow tonight, Hell, these people in this audience are
practically family to ThirdIBlind. All of them look like they’re inbred,
snaggle-toothed perverts. (Crowd really
laying heat on The Milkman, barely making it able to hear the interview) Hey! I just tell the truth, now shut up and
let me talk! (Huge Boos) ThirdIBlind, go get beat by some mid-card midget like
Blaze or Shadow or Bolt or something and let the real talent just step over
you. And you DMK, how about you and your little tramp take a hike. I don’t like
your attitude, and I don’t like you. Lastly, Davis, how about showing me a
little respect? These people like Bolt, Shadow, KroniK and Blaze make me sick.
You and you’re little puppets are really out to make a great
"rasslin" show eh? You want ratings? Get rid of the jocks and pay for
some more real talent like me. What am I saying? There's only one Milkman. This interview is ov…
(Just as The Milkman is finishing his interview, ThirdIBlind attacks
him from behind!!! A vicious assault
ensues and ThirdIBlind leaves The Milkman in the backstage area laying gasping
for air, brutally beaten.)
(Commercial Break)
(Clips from Boiling Point are shown. KroniK getting the win over Venom in the Steel Cage and then later in the night attacking Blaze. Also the event that explains this match, Bolt is offering his help to Blaze and KroniK, out of nowhere, attacks Bolt.)
“Voices” by Disturbed blares. KroniK quickly marches to the ring and grabs a table out from under the ring. He slides it into the ring and awaits his opponent.
The lights dim and a blue strobe light begins flashing. “Southtown” by POD begins to play. Bruce Bolt enters the arena and darts to the ring. This match is underway.
They start by jawing at each other. Then they lock up. Bolt with a whip into the ropes and a springboard dropkick. Bolt executes an inverted atomic drop. He hits a German Suplex..1…kickout. The Reverend comes to ringside. Bruce Bolt with a DDT, then an attempted “Boltshooter” but KroniK counters. KroniK with a Irish whip, then he lifts Bolt upstairs (to the top rope). KroniK with a belly-to-back superplex. KroniK bounces off the ropes and is hit with a spinebuster slam. The Reverend attacks Bruce Bolt, but is sent to the back by the referee. KroniK, in the meantime, picks up a chair and hits Bolt with it. KroniK with a fallaway slam. He backs off into a corner. Then he charges and attempts a spear, but Bolt uses his momentum against him and nails KroniK with a DDT. Bolt goes for the STF, but it is blocked. Bolt with half Boston. KroniK manages his way out after 17 painful seconds. Bolt sets up the table in the middle of the ring. He picks up KroniK and hits him with the “Bolt from the Blue.” KroniK is out like a light. Bolt signals it is the end and picks up KroniK and tries to drive him through the table with a suplex. The table didn’t break!!! Bruce Bolt looks very frustrated. Bolt starts mouthing KroniK and rolls to the outside, he picks up a chair and throws it into the ring. He sets up the chair near the corner and runs off of the ropes. Bolt returns and uses the chair as a stepping stone, then hits KroniK with a triple jump, springboard legdrop through the table!!!! The referee rings the bell.
On Thursday, February 28th XHW’s own David Brown sat down with the winner of the first ever Hardcore Rumble and the Number One Contender for the World Title, Shadow.
DB: “Thank you for sitting down and allowing me this interview.”
Shadow: “Well, make it quick, I’m a busy man.”
DB: “My first
question is this: what was your first reaction upon joining the XHW?”
Shadow: “My first
reaction of joining the XHW is that I would make an Impact, a Dark one at that.
I would become a champion and I will make fear rise in my opponent’s eyes.
DB: “What were
your feelings as you stepped through those curtains for the first time?”
Shadow: “My
feelings on stepping through the curtains were different than any other fed
I’ve been in. I had respect from the fans, and confidence in myself to win that
Hardcore Rumble. It’s great to be back in the business.”
DB: “You are now a
marked man, what are your plans to fend off all competitors?”
Shadow: “My plans
to fend off all competitors? Let's see. If they want a shot at the Shadow
Master, they get the match booked. End of story...I beat their asses,
1...2...3. It’s over. This is also a fair warning, don’t step in the darkness’
way.”
DB: “Your
long-time friend KroniK has joined you to become Total Darkness.
Do you believe
that you have a shot at the tag gold?”
Shadow: “Kronik.
Yes, Kronik and I have been in past federations, we were known as
Total Darkness,
and now we are here in the XHW, we are here for one thing as a team. Gold. The
Insane Asylum, says they’re 8 time tag champs. Me and Kronik have been tag champs
before, but we never lost them. Until we left or the fed went out. And just
because they lost them 8 times doesn’t mean anything. They will never see the
number 9 by there names.”
DB: “Where is your
focus, tag team or singles?”
Shadow: “My focus.
My focus is the entire circle of this federation. Sure, I’m number one
contender for the World Title. Total Darkness are soon to be tag champs. My
focus is on everything that it needs to be on right now. Everything is running
perfect.”
DB: “Thank you for
your time.”
(Commercial Break)
“All Over Me” by Drowning Pool hits and Venom makes his way to the ring. He is sporting a gash on his forehead from his match with KroniK on Boiling Point.
“Stone Cold” by Disturbed hits and Mikey comes through the curtains. He rushes to the ring, but wisely chooses to wait on the outside.
“Fear” by
Disturbed blasts and all the lights go off!!
A red spotlight scans the crowd!!
Shadow steps out of the curtain with his back to the crowd. He turns and slowly paces towards the ring,
jumps up on the apron, and pauses before entering.
Only two men in
the ring at one time, the third must be tagged in. Mikey and Shadow start out. Mikey attacks Shadow before the
bell. Mikey with an abdominal stretch,
Shadow breaks free after 28 grueling seconds.
Mikey with a rolling kick.
Shadow was taken by surprise by this attack and staggers to the corner
and slaps Venom’s shoulder. Venom is
in. Mikey continues his onslaught on
the new grappler with a DDT, then a choke slam. Mikey with a double underhook suplex. Mikey goes to the apron, springboard elbowdrop…1…2…kickout. Mikey with a Doctor Bomb…1…2…shoulder
up. Mikey with a German
Suplex…1…2…shoulder up. Mikey hits
Venom with a clothesline. Then applies
a hammerlock submission. Venom battles
loose after 19 seconds. Mikey attempts
a butterfly suplex, but it is countered with a backdrop. Venom with an armbar. Venom runs off the ropes and Mikey executes
a savate kick to the face. Mikey with a
Russian legsweep. Mikey and Venom hit
each other with a double clothesline.
Venom tags in Shadow, while Mikey is still down. Shadow takes advantage with a camel clutch,
Mikey breaks the hold. Shadow with the
whip into the corner, but Mikey reverses it.
He charges in with a big splash.
Shadow is staggering around the ring, Mikey hits the “HFO” on
Shadow…1…2…3. Shadow is complaining
about a fast count, but the referee will have none of it.
Shadow has been
eliminated.
It’s down to Venom and Mikey. Venom enters the ring and nails Mikey in the back of the head. Venom with a chokehold against the ropes. Venom with a faceslam and then a big splash off of the ropes. Venom places Mikey on the turnbuckle and hits him with a belly-to-back superplex. Mikey is thrown out of the ring. Venom stalks him and executes a roundhouse right on Mikey. Venom has the advantage now!! Venom with a Samoan drop on the concrete. He gets back in the ring a waits for Mikey. Mikey grabs Venom’s leg and pulls him back to the outside. He executes a spinning DDT on the concrete! Mikey then throws Venom back into the ring and reenters himself. Mikey attempts another German Suplex, but it is countered. Venom slips behind Mikey and hits him with “The Snakebite.” Venom goes over to his corner and picks up a glove with spikes on it!! He begins to choke Mikey inhumanly. Mikey begins to bleed and looses consciousness. The referee calls for the bell, but Venom will not let go of the hold!!
Winner: Venom
Several referees
come out and Venom wards them off. Then
“One of a Kind” hits and out walks Blaze to a very loud pop. Blaze enters the ring and begins to try and
calm Venom down. Venom finally releases
the hold and Blaze raises Venom’s hand in victory. The fans go nuts and Blaze and Venom leave the ring together and
walk backstage.
The Reverend
needed twelve (12) stitches to close the wound open up by Bruce Bolt in their
match on Boiling Point.
A First Blood
match has been signed between D.M.K and ThirdIBlind for Tuesday’s show. Look for the hatred between these two
wrestlers to come to a head during this brutal match.
In a related story, a match has been signed
for XHW’s first PPV, a Scaffold Match involving ThirdIBlind and D.M.K!!
Bruce Bolt cannot
seem to get The Reverend out of his hair.
Another match for
Tuesday will be Blaze and KroniK inside a Cell. Blaze is seeking revenge for the attack on him last Friday.
