Midway upon the journey of our life
I found myself within a forest dark,
For the streightforward pathway
had been lost.

My name is Lisa. I started my career 2 days after graduating from Mergenthaler Vocation Technical High School. My first job was Maryland Casualty Company. I then moved on to VIPS in Towson but only for a short time before I moved to New York and worked at Pall Corporation. After 5 years of New York, I returned home to Baltimore. I now work as an Academic Coordinator in the Department of Civil Engineering in the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. I have been with Hopkins for 13 years.

I attend United Church of God in Columbia, Maryland along with most of my family. I grew up attending Worldwide Church of God and I've been in the church since I was 4.My website is a compilation of the things I love in life. I especially love to cook and I'm crazy about music. I enjoy traveling every year when our church has it's Fall Feast of Tabernacles. I especially love going to England. I've been to some interesting places, including England (4 times), Germany, Italy, France and Quebec, Canada, Iceland, Guadeloupe in the French West Indies and Switzerland.

I am also a student of history. I was attending Johns Hopkins University, but they recent dropped their evening studies liberal arts program. Now I attend University of Baltimore where I major in history.

Lately, my passion has been decorating. I've repainted every room in my home - check out the sponging faux finish I did in my living room - and now I'm sanding down the bedroom set and pickling it. I'm having so much fun!

I'm also working on a cookbook which hopefully will be published next February!
