The Ions took it to the Giants on Sunday at Eastlake High School.  Terry Wood pitch well enough to win on Sunday but was bit by a one out bases loaded error that cleared the bases. The Ions took their time but outscored the Giants 7-0 in the final 2 innings. Walker led off the ninth with his second of 2 doubles in a 3 hit performance. Flores followed with a single that scored Walker. Then the walks started pouring in, Byler, Paige, Dillon and Mcelveny all took free passes.. Jackson took one in the ear for a well earned RBI. Kinsey singled to drive in 2 more runs that put the cap on a 6 run ninth inning. Everybody contributed in the this barn burner. The Ions sit alone a top the division looking down. We need to keep it that way. Lets get geared up for a pair at Alliant this Sunday vs. the Stars.

Next Game:  @ Alliant vs The Stars / 11-13 DH 9:00/1:00pm
