L.A.W.A.'s Official Rules of Match Play
"Hi.  I'm Edward J. Whiffle of Halifax, Nova Scotia.  These are the official rules of match play that I wrote all the way back in 1957.  Let me be your guide on your journey through my game's honourable guidelines!"
Rule #1 - Players must remain honourable at all times.  Let honesty, humility, and humanity be your guides.  Follow your conscience.

Rule #2 - In realms of match play uncovered in the following rules, typical baseball rules shall apply.

Rule #3 - There are two outs per inning.

Rule #4 - Strikes can be called as a result of a foul tip (except with a two strike count), a missed swing, or a pitch which the batter's own team deems "too good to have passed up (TOOGOTHPU)".

Rule #5 - Balls can only be called in the instance of a hit batter.

Rule #6 - No stealing.  No leading.

Rule #7 - Runners can be "thrown out" by touching baserunners off the bases with a ball.  Throw tags, or "Stanicoms" are allowed, as long as applied below the neck.

Rule #8 - A homerun is a fair hit that lands on the out-of-play side of the fence line.  Fielders may jump before the line and land out-of-play to catch a homerun ball for an out.

Rule #9 - A regulation whiffleball team is comprised of four players.  A fifth player shall be allowed in match play, but only as a permanent replacement.

Rule #10 - In regulation play, each player must pitch an entire inning.

Rule #11 - Players must observe the traditional 3rd inning stretch.

Rule #12 - Every officially sanctioned match must be preceded with the honorary humming/whistling/playing of "O, Canada", in respect of my national heritage.  In championship series play, the Canadian national anthem must be sung to a picture of me.

Rule #13 - At the conclusion of a match, the winning and losing teams must line up on the first and third baselines, respectively, and bow at the waist to each other.

Rule #14 - A regulation field must follow the specs of this diagram (numbers refer to the number of paces):
