Announcing the new People's Choice 2003 (*)Player of the Year
NICK ALLEN
With a last minute surge of votes Nick Allen won the first ever Peoples Choice Player of the Year.  The Final tally showed Nick with 241 votes as the clear victor, over the other candidates, Alex Cutter (220), Donny Hinkley (126), and also-rans Brandon Powell (18), Todd Robbins and Tony Witham (14 each.)
Below we have a victory statement from Nick Allen.

I strongly believe that we as an association must reach beyond this MVP voting. I believe that the campaigning has had a dramatic effect on the honour of LAWA. I deeply apologize to all those who felt betrayed by this poll and its supposed "dishonour". But then, I also believe that half the people who were putting up a stink about the voting would have done the same thing as Davis did for Cutter and what Jimmy did for me.

I also want to say thank you to Alex Cutter and his show of honour in his press realease on the official LAWA website. The article simply shows his level of honour.

I want to thank Jimmy Moreau as well for his well done job campaigning, even though I was unaware of his doing I am very proud to be a member of BSM with him.

So I stand here the official pc(POY), and ask those of you upset by the vote to move on with me and once again make this League by far the best League it can be.

We must find the honour in ourselves in order to find the honour in eachother, and once that is done we can once again be improve the LAWA association, where honour is an expectation.

Thank you for those who voted and good luck in the New Year and the LAWA 2004 Spring Season.
