LOCALLY-ASSEMBLED BOMBS FOUND IN AMBON

Ambon, Maluku -
Security personnel found two locally-assembled bombs planted
behind the command post of the army battalion I troops assigned in
the eastern restive town of Ambon at 09.00 a.m. on Sunday.
Commander of the
army battalion I, Major Tria Wibawa, confirmed the find.
He believed that
unidentified people had thrown out the fuseless bombs in their
effort to evade a military raid on illegal weapons.
