Dock Street Theatre
Charleston, SC
December 29-30, 2000

Ok, first of all, Evan sang.
Well, it wasn't until the end, but it should be mentioned first.
This should be noted as the highlight of all highlights of all Dock Street shows ever.
And this is being said by someone who loves all the new songs and was thrilled
to hear so many of them for the first time.
Each was a highlight in it's own way - especially Matt's hidden treat.
I'm not dissing Jay, he's the man of all time.
But isn't it true that something rare and unusual is sometimes the most beautiful thing of all.
Well, 2 accordians playing at once is rare and unusual but I'm not sure it's the most beautiful.
Fun and amusing, yes. Beautiful?  The jury is still out.
Enjoy the visions from these nights - even though the scenery did not show up in the pics.
Fill in as necessary with your memories or your imagination.

Jay's just full of new tunes tonight.

Ev gets an assist from Jack Berg.

And the Singer keeps Singing - or is that talking?

Accordion to Matt, this new song sounds great.

Ward tears it up again.

Here in this Vertigo - I'm Too High in this Utopian Sky.

Utopian, yes I think so.

Jay and the blur of Jonny.

Taking in the well-deserved praise.

Night 2 - and Jay gets the new songs rolling.

Trying to get the scenery - didn't work at all.

Bivins and Clifford, Lennon and McCartney, you get the drift.

Ward's V turns liquid in my lens.

All the jumping children, glmpses of the planets.

U can look...and look...and look

Jonny does his best vocals yet on these new tunes.

All five and we're all alive with joy.

Oh, no, not 'My Accordian'!

Four hand squeezing? Plinking?

The guitars bow down in awe.

Midnight - are we sure this was not a dream?

Bring me a quart of that Jonny Jump Up!

Amanda before her Riverdance.

Ward and his admirers - well a few of them, anyway.
