Love was love is love to you
love is love but not for you

~~~~~~~~~~
Smile in that pretty face of yours;
don't look at me now.
I don't deserve this penance;
what did I ever do to you?
Black and blue and bloodied and torn;
hold me now and make me yours
~~~~~~~~~~

This one time it all bears true;
my mind is cursed with memories of you.
Your heart was jaded and black with hate;
my mind misguided with torrid fate.
Love was love is love for you;
hate is stronger and I am blue

~~~~~~~~~~
You want to be free;
and I want to die.
You shot me up and spat me out;
now you are free, from my infernal doubt.
I'll love you forever;
and you'll hate me longer.
You said you loved me;
now I know better.
~~~~~~~~~~

Underneath the bed
lies hate;
disguised in love portrayed
as fate.

~~~~~~~~~~
My torture's in my head;
my torture's in my bed.
She'll lie there forever more;
razor blade kisses forgive her to adore.
Wrapped up in chains to roam;
begotten, to never come home.
Dreaming, alone in my head;
dreaming, alone in my bed.
~~~~~~~~~~

Forgive my heart to love;
your cynics wit lost in me.
Forgive my head to cast out;
this love shall never be let free.

Forgive this hateful look;
I do not mean to harm.
Forgive my wretchedness;
and with this smile you I disarm.

~~~~~~~~~~
Inside her towers she feels free from harm. No one will call for her for she lives in land hard from earth and winters roots entwine her soft hair. The light of years encrusts her brazen flesh and she wonders what will become, 'did this love for me seal my fate?' screams of eternal torment. X-ing of the days. Brambles, thorns will keep the boys away, she needs her sleep she won't play today. The Garden has overgrown her tears.
I'll keep her heart, I'll keep it in one piece, I'll be with her through years and years of sleep, I'll make this moment last I'll beat time, I'll be with her forever-make her mine.
She struggled, beat, she did not know her way. I led her safely, together all the way. I took her to my safe created dream, and there I made her mine, she hides in eternal sleep.*
Look at the reflection,
the reminder and remainder.
Shattered glass, dried up blood over the surface;
this is your face,
not the mirror.
It seemed so long ago
to forage in the dark;
and cut yourself free from any restraints,
slitting wrists and opening throats
mistakes, but you remember the blood boiling
and reaching your head;
burning your eyes and searing your thoughts.
~~~~~~~~~~

I wanted to see the stars, and one day I swore I would, but I found that I would never be able to because my feet were stapled to the ground…and every time I tried to move I couldn't because the staples drove deeper, no one ever heard me screaming. No one ever hears me screaming.

~~~~~~~~~~
I hear your call, and I know who you are, the winters of forgotten solstice lay scattered in your soul, the hopes you hold dear mean everything to you...but you never let yourself in, you always hide from the truth and wrap it up in ribbons...making it so much more than it is. You shield your eyes and stagger forward into the light, telling yourself that none of this is true, if there was a god, would he do this to you?
~~~~~~~~~~

I told you this tomorrow;
and yesterday as well.
I'll tell you this until you die;
and even then I will still tell.

This fate was destiny my love;
this fate was meant to be.
This life I've lived - I've lived alone;
and all was meant for thee.

~~~~~~~~~~
Shattered skeleton of a sentimental soul;
the napalm death of a forgiving hole.
Those sharp spikes of glass and his friends;
taunting me to the death-defying end.
~~~~~~~~~

Mary, Mary quite contrary
broke me up and made me scary
