Raven's Poems

*
I look in the Mirror
Who do I see?
An empty reflection
Staring at me

*

I used to like to look
I used to like to see
I used to like to View the world
Til you took my eyes from me
*
Stick in The Knife
Turn it round
Bury me deep
Within the Ground
*
Love is Beautiful
Love is True
Love is Kind
But not to you
*
They cut Her Down
They cut her up
And now she rests
Within my Gut
*
Cut out the Heart, Eat it Whole
Remove the Eyes, Devour my Soul
*
I am Trapped as Are you
So many Bind's to Break Through
I can't see The Point in Trying
When either Way We'll end up Dying
*
I came into your Place of Light
Left the Safety of the Night
And What of That You Promised me?
Captured I am Never Free
*
They took Her Head & pulled it back
Removed the Knife from the Sack
Bared the blade to the light
Let her go & tracked her Flight
Chased Her Long across The Ground
Where her Screams bore no sound
Caught her up & split the Flesh
Watched the Blood Stain her Dress
Left her In the Dark to Die
Empty eyes vs. Empty sky
*
I used to Love, I used to Care
I used to Laugh, I used to Dare
I used to be Wild & Free
Until you Stole my Life From Me
*
