Poetry by Anon

Further & further into oblivion crawled humanity,

Further from sense & sanity,

Until all they'd worked hard to prevent devoured them,

And all they had achieved crumbled into dust.

~~~~~~~~~~
I go now, & for what I leave behind, who knows. Memories of a distant past have forever tortured those who seek to forget them, and when we remember, do we think of the good times or the mistakes?
As for now, all I see is the future, but when will that become the mistake of the past?
Who's to say that love lasts forever? Maybe they just needed a change of scene.
So as I leave you now, I ask only this, that when you remember me, you think of only the good times, for the bad are worthless.
