An Ode To Mothers
I was just a young teen when my Mother
passed away
But I still remember her although I'm
turning gray
Every Mother plays a special part
She shapes our lives and steals our heart
She teaches us to always be good
Some of us don't learn that as well as we
should
I've missed my mom throughout my life
When times were good or full of strife
My high school graduation, my wedding,
my children and such
Those were some of the
special times I missed her, oh, so
much
So if your have your mom with
you today
Thank the Lord when you kneel to pray
Show her that you love her and also
that you care
Unfortunately, as life goes on she
won't always be there
But experience has taught me, although
she went away
Her love has seen me through the years
and it never went astray.
Love your mom as she deserves and tell
her that you do
Because no matter who else deserts
you, your mother will always love you.
