These are a few poems I've written. I haven't written any new ones in a while, these are from my teen angst period. I would also like post other people's poetry, so if you would like to see your poems posted on my Poet's Corner please feel free to email me!

Thinking

He sits in his room
his head in his hands
staring at the floor
FairiesFairies not even knowing it's there.
His heart wants to cry,
his head doesn't know why.
His mouth wants to scream
at his head for not knowing.
He says nothing, does nothing.
All is silent and still.
Finally the sound of a car.
A door slams, people talking.
The world goes on without him.
He sits there wondering,
contemplating life.

Once

Our paths crossed once
And we were friends.
Rainbow I thought our friendship
Would never end.
But came that day
We were thrown apart.
In separate directions
We were made to part.
I now see you on the street,
We smile, wave and say hello,
But something's missing,
There's an empty feeling
As I think on you,
And how we were.
I miss the fun times
We once had.
All the good,
And even the bad.
Our paths crossed once
And we were friends.
Our paths crossed once,
They'll cross again.

Don't Forget

If you're ever lonely
FairyFairy or feel you need a friend,
somebody to hug when you cry,
make you smile when you're down,
or if you just want to feel loved...
always remember that I'm here for you.
Although I cannot hug or kiss you
and won't get to talk to you everyday,
it might help to know how much I love you...
in each and every way.

Dreams

Dreams are the whispers of the night,
They come to you when nothing seems right,
an escape route to heaven, for a little while.
Rainbow Every sweet thought you've ever had comes back.
A contented smile crosses your gentle sleeping face,
And I wonder what you're dreaming of...
Perhaps of a fond childhood day,
Maybe an innocent fancy of how things could have been,
an old friend, or a special trip.
It could be nothing like this at all...
It could be you're dreaming about future things.
Whatever it is you're dreaming of - it doesn't really matter.
Dreams are the whispers of the night,
They enlighten your heart when nothing seems right.

Lost

I used to look at your picture,
something deep inside me would ache.
Then I put it away,
along with everything that reminded me of you.

Even though I'd gotten rid of it all,
you still were there,
Haunting me with little things,
showing me I still cared.
ButterflyButterfly

I used to walk along the road,
feeling the wind in my hair.
Thinking of nothing at all,
I'd hear a whisper from the air.

It blew by me in the breeze,
crept up on me through the wind.
Reminding me of days gone by,
was your name - lost in eternity.

Lost in an eternity of unspoken truths,
keeping us apart, forever.

In my high school English class I had to write a satire essay. It turned out pretty good. I found it the other day and thought I'd post it up here because everyone that's read it said it was very funny.
