Alethea arrived at the Silver Raven Inn during the fall, following close behind her ex fiance Sparda. Despite the fact that their relationship had gone into ruin, they remained acquaintances the past few years. Both investigated the rumor that Silver Mayhem NOX was behind the murder of Tsuyoi.       Silver Mayhem NOX disguised as Hayate approached Alethea. Over the next few weeks Hayate hunted Alethea relentlessly in order to kill her. Fearing for her life she hired Valys Malys as a body guard and soon she found out there was more to Malys then his body guarding abilities. Alethea developed a crush upon Malys, which tore her and Sparda apart further. With Malys taking interest in Alethea, Hayate's attacks ceased as he tried to figure out what made her tick. One day by the lake Hayate stole Intsudo away from Alethea, taking it right from her very finger tips.

      With Intsudo no longer in her possession Alethea tracked Hayate day and night. Her attempts were always a failure, until one night when a frustrated Hayate stabbed the sword through her abdomen. Little to his knowledge he had mortally wounded her, leaving her in a pool of blood upon the porch of the inn. A lone stranger passing by saw the whole act and took her to his room. Malys having stepped away from Alethea for a few moments, returned to find her gone. He could sense that her life was in jeopardy and tracked her to a room at the inn.

      The sword had left fragments inside her body, preventing her natural Silverian ability to heal. Malys'ss used his magic to draw the pieces out of her body in a very painful procedure. Healing the gash in her abdomen took most of her energy and she remained weakened for the next few weeks.

     Soon Alethea came to realize that something wasn'st right with Sparda he was slowly changing. Sparda soon confessed to murdering Tsuyoi and went for a face off with Malys. The battle was long and grueling. Weakened by the battle Sparda retreated into the night and was no where to be seen. Discovering that her presence at the inn was no longer needed Malys escorted her back to her homeland. Upon returning home she no longer needed the services of Malys and he soon disappeared not long after returning to Silveria. Leaving Alethea with a broken heart, but her duty as princess and her people kept her grounded.
