| Mystery ride to Castle in the Clouds |
| We never did make it to the top of the hill but we got a great lesson from rain! The day started out lovely. Blue skies, warm. By the time we got to Castle in the Clouds a huge dark cloud hovered overhead. Occasional lightning was enough to make us turn back. We tried to outrun the storm but only made it to Barnstead. Lucky for us a pizza place was located right where the down pour started! Because of all the rain this trip has the honor of being the wettest ride of the year! (so far). |
