This was the season where everything came together to form a league. The racers
at this time were: Brian, Brett, Chris, James, Mike, John, and Jimmy.
Pouring rain all afternoon. A river of water down the driveway.
There was actually was a current too. Normally this would kill a NASCAR event
...but not us. Oh it was great to race in the rain. James claimed first and second.
Brett pulled up in third and YAY! Mike finally placed! He got fourth.

Today was a fairly gloomy Thanksgiving day Eve. The racers were Brian, James,
John, and his girlfriend Kelly. Awwww....they're so cuuuuute. Anyway
Brian got first and second. John got third and James come in fourth.

Cold....but not so cold....that was the day today. I believe the temp. was about 33 degrees.
Only the diehard competitors will be racing this winter season. James, Brian, and Mike raced today.
Snow was on the ground so that meant the driveway was covered in rock salt. The farthest car down
was only about half way. James pulled off the first, Brian got second, and YAY! Mike got third AND fourth.

Snow lined the sides of the driveway as we raced week number 4. Mike, Brian,
and James started things off as John came after the first race. James received another
first place and he also came in third beating Brian who got fourth. And Oh My God....
Mike got a second place. So now he's really ahead of John.

A little rain all day until it was time to race. Then, of course,
it had to snow and normal flurries would have be fine. But I
was leaving footprints and there was still snow underneath it. So,
we had to cancel. And of course it stopped snowing after dark.

A lovely Christmas Eve full of rain. Brian and James raced today in the
pouring down rain. We had to do 2 races to make up for last week.
The first race James got first and Brian got second, third, and fourth place.
The second one Brian got first, second, third and James got fourth place.

It was a sunny but cool New Year's Eve, with Brian, James,
Brett, and John racing. It was a pretty close race all the way through.
In the end, Brian got first, John second and third, and James fourth.

The new year started off on a good note with James, Brian, Brett,
and Mike racing. It was very cold out, I'd say about 26 degrees.
The driveway had rock salt over it again. Brett got first and
fourth, Mike got second, and James had gotten third place.

Today was a snowy day but we got the racing done in time.
A thin layer of snow covered the driveway so it was like Hot
Wheels in an Ice Capade. Though all the slipping and sliding,
Brian came in first and third and John come in second and
fourth. Sadly, Chris didn't place but at least he has cars now.

A fairly warm day of 35 as opposed to 10 degrees all last week. There was
James, Brian, Mike and John racing today. After a very tough competition Mike
pulled off the first, James got second, Brian had third, and John comes in fourth.

So, it snow a good 8 inches the night before and into the morning.
Which means one No School and two no racing. We might have had
it but no one was really informed in time so the race was X'ed.

After a brief snow delay to clean off the driveway, we began racing.
James, Brian, and Mike were those brave enough to clean the driveway
and race. A lot of back and forth between Brian and James but in the
end, James got first and third and Brian got second and fourth places.

Today was the first day of our new racer, Jimmy. He was up
against some of the most experienced, Brian and James; John
was there too. At the end of it all, Brian had come out in first,
James received second, and John pulled up third and fourth.

After clearing off the snow from the night before, the race
was on. Some snow still lingered so the cars didn't get that
far down the driveway. After it all, Mike came out on top
with first, as Brian obtained second, third, and fourth places.

Alright, today was a double header. The racers for today were Jimmy,
Brett, Brian, and James. After the first four races. Brett got first
and fourth places, James got second place, and Brian got third place.
The second four races, to make up for that last week in January, went
Brian first, James second and fourth, and Brett received third.

With 8 weeks to go, Brian and James tied at 6 first places and
Brett and Mike tie with 2 first places, we began racing. Mike, Brian,
and James set out for an 8 race competition. After it all, James came
out with first place and Brian got second, third, and fourth places.

A Happy St. Patrick's Day, and then we began racing. Mike,
James, Brian, and Brett were there but Brett didn't race he just
watched...???. After 4 races, James got first and second places,
Mike got thrid place and Brian got fourth place.

4 races to go on this cool windy day. Mike, James, and
Brian were there racing. After 4 races it was very
blue as all blue cars won. In first, third, and fourth
places was James, with Brian claiming second place.

A nice day to be racing Hot Wheels....so we did, twice! The first race
was Jimmy, James, and Brian racing. After 4 races Brian got first due to
his literally exploding car. James got second and third places, and Jimmy
got fourth place. In the second race, Mike showed up. After the 4 races,
Brian claimed first, second, and third places and Mike received fourth.

The last race of the Winter Season, as customary the racer with
the most wins sat out. This was James and Brian for they were
tied. Mike and John raced and after four races, Mike got first
and second places, and John got third and fourth places.
