About Us.

I have been involved with Schnauzers since 1988,I first one was a mini, Pippy. Then decided to go up a size, my first  standard puppy was Maddie, becoming my first Australian Champion.Ch.Gampiplang Starry,who sadly passed away 14/2/95 due to complications from a caesarean. Followed by Baxter,Ch.Portora Rabelais. Together these produced four lovely litters.

Next to arrive on the scene was Missy,Ch.Awun Miss Molly, I mated Missy to Remporters' Fozzter,Ch.Khinjan Stars'n Stripes,imp.U.K.from this litter I kept Nelly.Lauthala Fancy Fenellai,now a Champion.

In December saw the arrival of Poppy  from her breeder Pat Benifield, gaining her championship at the age of 12 months.Ch.Farica Eleonore.

In 2003 I imported frozen semen from Germany from Ger Ch. Caro - Mio V Fidibus. Many thanks to Karen Groenewold who owns Caro-Mio,as well as thanks to Yvonne Hopf (Munchner Giants) for making this happen, as far as we know it's the first time Schnauzer semen has been introduced into Australia from Germany.    Photo of Caro-Mio.

In 2003 Poppy was mated to Baily, Ch.Asgard Limited Edition(imp.U.S.A.) owned by Pat Benefield,3 pups were born.

April 2004, Poppy was AI'd,2 female pups were born in June, the dad being Caro-Mio. My first litter with tails. I have kept one of the girls  Lauthala Lotza Style (Jaz) and have  started showing her. In November 2004  I showed her at the Murwillumbah Show where she won Baby Puppy Sweepstakes as well as Baby Puppy in Group. On the 10/1/05 I showed her in her first show that she was able to gain points towards her Championship, she won a 7 point Challenge and on the 15/1/05 she also won 7 points, BOB as well as Minor Puppy in Group. 

   9/9/2005,Jaz gained her Championship today at the Noosa Show, having some good wins on the way to her title. 

VALE Ch. Portora Rabelais.(Baxter)31/5/1991-17/1/2006.He was a terrific chap, every one who saw him wanted a puppy just like him, he was a great ambassador for the breed. He sired 72 puppies and will be sadly missed.

   20/3/2006. Poppy had 6 pups today,4 boys and 2 girls, all are doing well.

   10/6/2006. Jaz is having pups, due about the 4th July, the dad is from Baxter and Missy,5 year old Jackson,  Lauthala Jackson Boy.

 VALE.  Ch.Awun Miss Molly(Missy) who passed away as well as Ch.Lauthala Fancy Fenellai(Nelly)both sadly missed.

  Poppy 's  pups  were born on the 17thMay,07.6 girls and 2 boys, all doing well. Jackson is the dad.

  Poppy had pups on Sunday 24th August,08.2 girls and 7 boys.

                                   Jaz also had a puppy on the 28thAugust,a boy. 

  14/8/2009,  Royal Queensland Show, Jaz won the Challenge and Runner up in Breed.

Back,
