| How long does it take for my special order to be finished? Approximately 2 weeks. If you want a special Christmas gift, please place your order early as I get swamped with special requests during the holidays and can only take so many orders. |
| What form of payment do you accept? I accept payment by Paypal and Money Orders. If you are sending an International Money Order, please make sure funds are in US. |
| What is polymer clay? Polymer clay is a plastic based clay that remains very pliable until is it hard baked in the oven. After is it hardened, it can be painted, sanded, drilled, etc. There are various brands of polymer clay. I use only the highest quality clay that has wonderful sculpting properties and becomes extremely hard and durable after baked. My sculptures are made using colored polymer clays. The only paint I use is to add small details to the finished piece. |
| What is needle felting? Needle felting is an art medium where soft wool fibers (wool roving) are interlocked together using a special barbed needle. The needles are extremely sharp and delicate and you have to be extremely careful while working on your sculpture not to poke yourself or break a needle. A wire armature is built to provide support to the sculpture and make it gently posable. The wool is applied over the armature. It takes literally thousands of needle pokes and many, many hours to complete a single sculpture. |
| What kind of animal breeds can you make? I can make any breed of dog and most cats. Photos are manditory if you have a mixed breed. I can also make rodents, farm animals, woodland creatures, etc. If you have something very unusual you would like me to sculpt, please contact me and I will let you know if I can do it. |
| How much is shipping? Do you ship world wide? Yes, I ship world wide and have happy customers all over the world! Shipping for First Class International is approximatley $11.00 (no Insurance). If you want your item insured, I have to ship it Priority International which is more expensive at approximately $24.00. |
