| Hey there! This is going to be a good page for you people who like to write letters and use lots of different stationary. |
| It is also going to be a good page for people who like GIFs. I have found all sorts of of both out there on the web. I'm going to put in some of my favorite links and maybe you'll like them to. First though, I'd like to include a few simple definitions for some of the terms I've been using. This is just in case I have novices who are coming to my site and would like to know what the heck a GIF is, or maybe the true meaning of science fiction or fantasy. OK, here goes! |
| Science Fiction - fiction dealing principally with the impact of actual or imagined science on society or individuals or having a scientific factore as an essential orienting component. |
| Fantasy - a creation of the imaginative faculty whether expressed or merely conceived: as a: a fanciful design or invention b: a chimerical or fantastic notion c: fantasia 1 d: imaginative fiction featuring especially strange settings and grotesque characters -- called also fantasy fiction. |
| Link - also known as hyperlink; connection between two HTML pages. |
| Animated GIF - file that combines several images into a single GIF file. When the browser recognizes this file type, it loads it, cycles through the images in the file, and gives the appearance of cartoon like animation. |
