Cape Buffalo 
The African buffalo Syncerus caffer is found in Africa, south of the Sahara where there is grass, water and cover to retreat. There are a number of subspecies, the biggest are up to 5 ft/1.6 m high and black with massive horns set close together overhead.

These are the most formidable quarry and a most dangerous game animal.

Also, American bison, Asiatic water buffalo, Bubalis bubalis found in S. Asia and India.
