why is control such an issue
it doesn't have anything to do with you
i just need the sense of strength
a strength at any length
so i know i can control
what everyone else beholds
i need to know i can beat it
once the fire inside me is lit
the sense of acceptance
takes away the annoyance
i wish i could control it more
and not keep what i'm doing
hidden inside a secret drawer
this act of mine is sick
i will soon stop to tick
